I don’t have exact numbers but I would say all 3 are down just a bit in hitting average but they have been heating up as of late. Probably the reason why the record is lagging behind compared to last year.

Final from Erlanger. Cru take the district win with 3 hits from Michael Schaefer and 2 from Max Epplen. Jackson Haddle scatters 3 hits over 7 innings for the win.
-
Final from Erlanger. Crusaders score 6 in the 5th to overcome a 4-0 deficit. Kameron Kraus had 3 hits and 2 RBI’s and Jackson Haddle went 6 1/3 for the win.

Newport Central Catholic 1 St. Henry 0 (All A Classic)

Well pitched game between seniors Gunner Smith and Jackson Haddle. NCC scored an unearned run in the 1st and made it hold up. -
Let me say something else that's pretty simple. 5 errors or not St. Henry still has to bat and play the field and they did both which is why they won the game. They were not handed this game. They got a well pitched game, I think 8 hits and only a couple errors. This team has spent the entire season not getting the credit they've deserved and today they showed alot of people that they are a good baseball team.

KHSAA website is listing the Region 9 tourney location as Dixie Heights -
Game was a pitchers duel. Haddle for St. Henry and Ludwig for Villa. Jackson Haddle had 10 strikeouts and allowed 2 hits in pitching the complete game. I apologize for not having exact numbers on Ludwig but he had probably close to double digit strikeouts and a few more walks while allowing 3 hits in the complete game.

Let's give St. Henry some credit they are due. They battled from beginning to end, got great pitching out of Brady with tough defense behind him and timely hitting while taking advantage of the walks. Not sure if the hit count on Dreves is correct. Kraus had 3 against him on his own. Think he scattered 3 or 4 others. Even with the loss to Cov Cath Friday, the Crusaders have still won 10 of their last 11.

Will Brady pitches 6+ innings and Kameron Kraus hits a 3-run homer in the 5th to break it open. Highlands scored all 3 of their runs in the 7th.
-
Crusaders score 6 in the first 2 innings and take their 6th straight win. Kameron Kraus pitches a complete game for St. Henry.
-
Senior Stephen Maley goes the distance for the Crusaders and Spiritoso does the same for the Raiders. St. Henry wins their 5th in a row.
-
Kuhr, Crowe and Epplen combine for the shutout.
-
Crusaders pull out another victory with timely hitting early and good defense throughout. Jackson Haddle pitches a complete game as does the Cooper starter (believe it was Chase Arehart).

Early Prediction... Best NKY Sophomores 2017.

Have had the pleasure of watching both Castleman and Coldiron play over a long hot summer against top notch competition. Both are multi-tooled players who can have a 3 or 4 hit game at any moment. Not sure what Castleman is playing in HS but the kid could cover a lot of ground in the outfield. Coldiron played a very strong 1st base during summer ball and his length and athleticism let few if any balls get past him. He's deceivingly fast as well. To only be sophomores both have their best baseball in front of them bringing different types of game to the field. -
34th District Championship goes to the Crusaders.
-
Very well pitched and played game by both teams. Johnson and Oldfield go the distance for St. Henry. Ridilla had 2 doubles and Haddle homered for the Crusaders
