Dunbar did have a nice freshman team, but I was told they won the fifth place game in the playoffs they had. Not real sure about that. I mean, fifth out of 10 or 11 teams isn't much to write home about. With that said, it will take some time. I support PLD from a distance, knowing some parents from there. Johnson has his work cut out for sure.

Not to be the negative one here, but isn't it fair to say this is an unproven staff, despite the hype? Johnson may have been a good head coach and Wood a good assistant, but what about these other guys? Just because a guy played at UK (or any other school) doesn't mean it's going to work out. Seen it not work out several times. Johnson will have to add some quality to that staff to make a difference next season, in my opinion.

Those people are wrong. Scott Co was the third best team in 6A this year, and I hate to admit it, but Trinity would have beaten us pretty badly. I think the Cardinals could've taken one against Cov Cath, though.

Not seen the kid from Cov Cath, but I watched St. X take down my Cardinals last week, and their QB was pretty darn good. Nice arm and could run, too!

Tonight’s game will come down to which team is better prepared by their coaching staff’s. FD is loaded with talent and should win a region championship but McKee is a great coach and will have Scott prepared.

There are District, regional and semi final championships teams can win. That’s what I meant. FD did not win District and won’t win the regional championship but tout a championship that does not exist city champions, that is what is hilarious. As talented a group as FD has they should have won District and we will see about region tomorrow. FD has more talent than Scott Co. but McKee is a better coach that is why they will be District and regional champions.

Everyone knew FD was gonna have good team they were able to get kids from all over the city. It’s no surprise. They have talent that is what wins so the kids get the credit for that. Respect the kids not some of there coaches. Landis walked into a gold mine. Scott by 14. FD ends with 0 (no District or region) championships with a talented group of players.

If the means justify the ends you got it. Their players are from all over the city they were a very experienced team coached well before they got to FD. Scott co will be there true test. Lex schools were down this year. Creek was okay.
