Two things...Larry Bird averaged 31 without the 3 pt line. Number two: if i were Carson id be thrilled to hear that comparison , it would only make me more confident....not cause pressure....

. True Malik does not control himself at times on the court ...but few people know that he spends one hour a day mentoring an autistic sfelow student at MCHS. He literally walks laps with him, talks to him , shares his headphones and music with this boy....way to go Malik. Now thats making a difference !

I will say this. Whoever wins it i hope they are of high character and of high academic accomplishment.

IMO Stearns is a potential All State player wben he is healthy .Playing without him and all he does could have been a 20 point difference

After watching Lou Central i would certainly not count them out

Agreed that Danville is very athletic...Blevins and Stearns from Wayne Co are very athletic as well. Stearns IMO is the most athletic player Mercer has seen. Blevins is the fastest player ive seen this year with the ball

I really enjoyed watching this game. Centrals coach seemed to be the kind that a player would run thru a wall for. Loved the enthusiasm and demaenor he displayed.

Never thought id live long enough to see a Lafayette fan SO excited to beat Mercer Co....must have been same feeling for Wisconsin fans last yr after UK game....hang in there Bengal1...being a hater aint easy

Dont see them anywhere close to Dunbar as a team

Only time will tell ...District Region and State are right around the corner.....should Mercer win 12th and beat 11th in first round of State does that validate them ?
