No once player has ball knocked from hand it becomes loose ball doesn't matter who it touches last before going into backcourt. The offense may recover ball in backcourt. -

I'm talking about season as whole and what he needs to be great. Bracken is 11 - 9 this season and that team is better than that I believe anyone who has seen them play believes they are better than that record definitely with one of the top players in region just needs to take that next step. -

I guess since I talk to Sapp and maddox after the game and they told me they was allowed to talk to the officials and they asked them at half court and they said they were fine with it .So I guess I'm correct. -

That is officially from hand book so you better check it out .. specifically states it's a loose ball no possession may be recovered by offense. -

The only ones who asked questions to the refs was the team captains and before the start of the game at half court the refs told the captains they had no problems with them talking to them as long as they were not trying to show them up . -

what is the offensive player moves to the front court and the ball is tipped by the defensive player. A loose ball scramble ensues and the offensive player contacts the ball then it rolls in the backcourt and is recovered by the offensive player? Once the ball is knocked from players control it doesn't matter if it touches a offensive player last in front court . It is determined a loose ball and may recover in back court with no violation. Hope this helps. -

Not bad 30 point average in six games . Definitely one of top players in region . On the other hand the team went 3-3 in those six games and almost 2-4 if p.c. didn't give one away. Needs to find a way to get teammates going. Brent Bach had same problem his first year under coach Hinson but when he figured out how to make teammates better and when it was time for him to take the game over him became a great player. That's the next big step for Crawford. We all know he can score but getting wins and refusing to lose attitude is what he needs to be great. -

Great game for the Augusta panthers They controlled the game all night from start to finish. Really wouldn't have been as close as score looks if not for a bad technical foul called on Cam Sapp who did nothing to deserve it . This five point swing made it interesting down the stretch. Whole second half Augusta was up any where from 7 - 12 points. Connor Maddox hitting bombs and Cam Sapp plays with the most heart and effort every night against centers taller and bigger every game works his tail off. Great job panthers. -

Been to alot of games and don't see many kids getting chased all over court no matter where ball is at so would have to disagree -

Connor Maddox hands down gets face guarded all over the court every night he plays because all 10th region coaches know he will kill you if given any room. -
Paris/Bishop Brossart predictions
Brackengrad95 replied to Randy Parker's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
I hope Paris wins because of the tough road they went through to get to finals. Brossart is rested and game planning for this championship since the draw . So I'll have to take brossart by 6. -
Great game first of all not the cake walk many Paris fans thought it would be. Four turnovers in a roll down the stretch doomed Augusta. Paris was not the quicker team last night if the officials would have called the hand checking and body contact that is supposed to be one of the rules of imphazies this year Paris would have had no chance to keep Augusta in front of them. Pretty much had a saddle on their back. But with that said if refs are allowing it why change. Take nothing away from Paris they played a great game and deserve the win. But I don't believe either team played their best game. Augusta played a great second half but sluggish first half. Both teams played hard and with great effort. This just proves 10th region is wide open and Paris is not heads above everyone. Great game can't wait until district and region time. Once again hats off to Paris.

Augusta at Mason County Predictions
Brackengrad95 replied to RoyalWildcat's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
Augusta by 5 if big 4 all show up and score double figures. Connor Maddox has been playing like a top player in region just finds a way to score and make others better. Also he only shoots 90 % in fieldhouse. -
Bishop Brossart/Bracken County predictions

Hinson has always struggled against brossart and that coaching staff. ..they seem to be one of the few who has his number. I'll take brossart in a close one. -
