apparently there was a national poll that USA today has been running up the score on 6 A teams outside Louisville and Coach Mueller is to blame.

I'm a birds fan, I don't think the score was run up on them, birds were beat in almost every aspect of the game Friday. Everyone I have talked to about the game said HH needs to get better not that Ryle should have let up.

I get what you are saying and that sounds like a very classy move by BG. But at that point the season is over there is no reward for the risk. But early in the season, coaches need to get their teams as many snaps as possible to show they can finish and continue grinding out a win later in the season.

I thought this conversation was started by someone saying that HH ran the score up for years and now they are getting a taste. Not the other way around.

I think we need to have an official definition out there of what running up the score is. No personal feelings involved, no one getting butthurt because they thought their team was going to win and lost by 35 and now they feel cheated. Something from a moderator as a basis.

... I'm happy teams like SK and Copper and Ryle have the ability to hang a running clock on teams around here. Hopefully it shows that they have the ability to represent Nky at state. I know that I root for what ever Nky team is playing

It's not engrained in just highlands players. It's everywhere, every sport and every team. Look at SK, they blow people out and no one says a word. It's part of the game.
