Kentucky very well could finish the year 8-4. Which I think is impressive considering the injury problems at quarterback.

IMO Cathedral is the best team in Indiana this year. They went to Cincinnati three times; they beat Moeller 28-0, lost in OT at Elder, and lost by 4 at St. Xavier. With that said I think this will be a great game with Trinity winning 35-28

Personally I’d really like to see Desales at Paducah Tilghman because it’s a rare matchup.

I’d say UHA is the favorite and Lyon County is a dark horse in the second region.

I don’t think much about the previous weeks rankings or the preseason rankings this early in the season. At this point there are only a handful of good teams that have played other good teams so I’m just basing it on the eye test. When I watch Ohio State play they look like one of the best offenses in the country and their defense looks much better than last year so I have them at number 2. Also you mentioned Notre Dame, I have Notre Dame in the same spot now that I had them last week. I don’t believe in moving teams up or down in the rankings just because they won or lost.

I was 4 years old. I remember my dad just sitting on the couch watching everything happen on tv but other than that I don’t remember much.

Waubonsie Valley is 2-0 so far this year and they were 7-4 last year. I think Trinity wins but I think it will be much more competitive than the Cathedral game. I’ll say 35-17 Trinity.

Before Terry Wilson got hurt I would’ve picked Kentucky but now I think Florida wins. Something like 24-10.

My favorite campus is the University of Kentucky but others that I really like are Texas State and Texas A&M. I really like UT Austin but not as much as the others. I’d really like to visit Wisconsin and Georgia.

Also when I was younger I spent some time in the greater Detroit area visiting family but I don’t remember if I was ever actually in Detroit or not.

John Newton at Webster County and Jeff Embrey at Lyon County are probably the two best coaches in the second region. Coach Stovall at Christian County is really good also.

His passing really impressed me! I watched on the NFHS network and thought he looked like he was easily the best player in the tournament.

I’d say Billy Hicks is the best and then Ruthsatz number 2. Also Coach Renner at Ballard should be considered.
