Call me old fashioned but I like the Grass fields. Weather becomes a factor in games played on grass! I remember Boone County playing Simon Kenton it rained so hard at Simon Kenton the field was nothing but a muddy mess! Boone Co. lost that game 6-0. I also Remember a game at Boone Co. where it rained all day and all game Vs. Paul Dunbar @ Boone Co. Game went to overtime and Boone county scored to make it 7-0 and then Dunbar scored went for 2 and was stopped at goaline and Boone Co. won 7-6. Those were some of my favorite memories at football stadiums in Northern Ky.
Looking forward to this game to gauge where Cincy is. I hope they go to Columbus and shock the world. I don't see it happening after I watch both teams this past week. UC defense is much better than Florida whatever cupacake they played in week 1. Ohio state is also way better than UCLA! Hoping for a good game but my prediction is 35 to 20 or so buckeyes get the win!
I think what we are seeing is how much better Cincinnati football is than most of northern Kentucky football! Anderson is bigger faster and stronger than SK.
