Halftime graves leading 16-7

I'm at the game and here's my thoughts so far..graves is utilizing the play action as I said in earlier prediction thread comments and controlling the game..they are playing championship football tonight for the first time this season..very very impressive so far..wow, go eagles!!

Graves county controlling every aspect of the game so far. go eagles!

As a true eagle fan I will give my honest opinion on the upcoming game.. 1)OHS is a hell of a team..defense can hang with anyone and will give graves' young qb a fit.. 2) Graves will have to run a double back set (misdirection) to try to confuse the ohs defense..having a double back set will allow the playaction to evolve and should mathis throw the ball, the backs can act as extra blocking support..this will give Mathis the much needed extra time to throw the ball. 3) I look for graves to hang around for 3 quarters but OHS pulling away late in the game..but I can see the rematch in week 3! 4) final score OHS 38 GRAVES 31

As a man I must admit & apologize that I was given false information concerning the practices & coaches at graves..my source was around the program for over 13 yrs and I thought the information they relayed to me was trustworthy..so I take the time to apologize for any confussion or wrong that I may have caused..best of luck to the eagles as they try to run the gauntlet on the way back to bowling green!!

I spoke with joe jackson " the voice of the eagles" & we told me that regardless of the outcome friday night that graves is locked into the #3 spot in the district..& that they will be traveling in the 1st game of the playoffs to greenwood!

In relation to my last post, this is what I meant to say: graves has 1 head coach and approximately 8-15 assistant coaches..during the week, each assistant coach will be assigned a task and a certain number of players.they practice all week with that particular assistant..then on Friday morning the coaches come together and discuss a game plan for that evening game..it's weird & somewhat confusing in my opinion!

My opinion of the game..1) Christian has alot of speed..2) Graves has terrible pass defense..terrible!..3) graves has the offense to get things done and keep them games, but u cant give up 40+ points and expect to beat great teams..4) as a beloved eagle fan I have a few concerns..it seems to me that graves has 1 head coach and 15 assistants..each assistant coach's different aspects of the team during practices throughout the week then the coach's come together on Friday and discuss progress throughout the week in practice before the game..this shows a lack of coach-ability & confussion..it have said it all year, the offense can hang with anyone, defense better step it up quick or the seasons in jeopardy! Imo
