  1. Comes to Danville after previous stops at Berea and Bryan Station.
  2. A local deputy and a friend of mine asked Mrs Haddix what kind of work they were doing in their backyard, she said they were getting a pool installed to enjoy next summer. Didn’t sound like a person with plans of leaving anytime soon.
  3. IMHO Boyle assuming the Danville School district and operating 2 high schools under one umbrella would probably be the best thing from an education standpoint but that’s a different topic for a different day. A full merger, no thanks.
  4. 2019 Boyle would’ve been in. He may have hit the upright. Same for yesterday of the 3 they missed 2 would’ve made it no doubt.
  5. 17-19 had more D1 guys than 20 and 21. This team has the most of any of them. Sage Dawson EKU offer Tommy Zeismer UK Commit Tavi Quisenberry UK, Louisville, EKU Andrew Hardwick Army Commit Brock Driver UK offer I feel like I’m missing someone else but regardless this years team has an impressive offer sheet maybe more so than the 17-19 teams.
  6. WAY TO GO REBELS!!!! Great effort by Corbin and great season!
  7. Boyle makes its fourth straight appearance to Kroger field looking for their third consecutive title. This time the opponent is none other than Coach Haddix’s former team, Corbin. Boyle enters the game at 12-2 and Corbin enters at an unblemished 14-0. The Redhounds have no shortage of offense coming in at a scoring pace of 49 points per game and accumulating an average of 344 yards. Boyle comes in scoring 41 points per game and 340 yards per game. Defensively Corbin is giving up 14 ppg while Boyle is giving up 16. This game is either going to be a shootout for the ages or a defensive showdown. Being the Friday night game and both teams known for having a fan base that travels well, this might be the most attended game of the 6. It will be a state championship atmosphere without a doubt! We’ve known all year that these were the top of the class and it is only fitting that they will meet each other in the final game, on the states biggest biggest stage to determine your 2022 4A State Champion. Who do you got in the 4A finale?
  8. Central turnover on downs. Boyle ball at their 21. 2:13 left in the 1st
  9. Boyle’s first drive ends in a fumble recovered by Central at the Boyle 49.
  10. A matchup of “newer” Blue bloods awaits us Friday night at Rebel Stadium. There have been 16 state titles between the 2 schools. All coming since 1999. Boyle has 10 of those and Central 6. Both teams thrive on and pride themselves on top tier defense. Central enters the game at 9-4, winners of their last 7 games and have given up a total of 26 points in those 7 games. Granted one win is a 1-0 forfeit in the first round but impressive numbers nonetheless. The Central offense runs through Cortez Stone. Stone has 2123 rushing yards, 195 receiving yards and 26 Touchdowns. Talk about a super sophomore! Boyle enters the game at 11-2 fresh off of a 41-21 win over district rival Lexington Catholic. Boyle has relied heavily on their ground game thus far in the playoffs. They’ve rushed for 277 yards per game and only attempting 12 passes per game at a 122 ypg clip. Boyle’s own super sophomore Tavey Quisenberry and junior Avery Bodner account for most of those yards. This is one of those games where the team with the fewest turnovers and plays the cleanest game will come out on top. Fully expect a defensive showdown that will be worth the price of admission. Who do you got in this one?
  11. It’s nice to see the Boyle OL looking like a unit these last few games. It was rough for much of the regular season.
  12. Lex Cath answers with a TD of their own. The Knights never give up I’ll give them that. 41-21 Boyle with 5 minutes left in the game.
  13. TD Rebels. Boyle OL absolutely man handling the Catholic front tonight.
