You would be surprised as to how many are not so upset with this decision. There are some loyal Kelsch people in Brooksville but not as. Many as I initially thought.

I waited before posting on this to see the initial reaction and to get better info on this move. While keeping my ear to the ground a listening to some of the Chatter coming out of Brooksville. With that said I see a lot of bashing on the administration on this move, but has anyone thought that PK might just be the happiest man in this whole ordeal? I am not going on here and posting what I've been told because I've been asked not to but I don't think PK is beating himself up over this one. Some that I've talked too have been saying he may wanted out but took the wrong approach to getting there. I can say for fact that he was contemplating leaving after this past season. Was getting into a slight burnout phase in his career. Probably would have been gone after next season anyway on his own accord so this may not have been the year he wanted to go but it is the year he is going.

In all honesty i hope Piper lands on her feet somewhere next season. She is a good caoch and with her experience last season in the State Tournament she should be able to land a pretty good gig.

No player in particular. Just different people that follow Mason County basketball closer than myself share the same concerns as you expressed in your previous post. Someone else spoke of transfers i have not heard that yet. But tis the transfer season during the summer AAU leagues is when transfer rumors start heat up. May be nothing come of it but if there is it will be to no ones surprise.

Unfortunately I've heard the same thing. I don't like that move but it's not my decision to make. Hopefully this is all rumor especially the Cummins part. If she does however it catapults Mason Co. Way ahead of the pack in the 10th.

It would be a good gig for him. Im also hearing that Patrick Kelsch is indeed interested or at least thats the rumor. Maybe already applied or at the minimum reached out to the Mason Co. people or they have reached out to him :idunno:. Of course all hear say at this point. I dont know if its even posted as of yet.

Ive still not seen anyone put forth a list of possible replacements. Whats the word? People have to be talking at this point.

I think we can add Mason County to this growing list.

Agree the timing is the shocker. I like many thougt after last season she would be let go. But after the great run the team had was thinking she solidified her position.

I was just thinking the same thing. But you have to understand that the only thing that really matters to the Maysville newspaper publication is their boys basketball and football at times. The girls program has to win a regional to get any recognition in their own home town newspaper. Even the radio station WFTM who usually is a great source of sporting news and information is tight lipped at the moment. I did hear budget cuts were a factor but something defintitly smells funny in Maysville right now.

Who would not be interested Rabbit or PK? You have to think that job would draw interest from all around. Especially with the ore group being only Juniors next season. I think they both will be interested but we all know Rabbit won't get a second look. PK on the other hand :idunno:

I would think Kelesh would be a target of interest with all he's done at Bracken. Or maybe one of his assistants that were on those teams. Aaron Linville perhaps?

I agree with this 100%. But the authority figures at Mason County will never allow that.

So that narrows the list. In your expert opinion who is the front runner? Do they try to lure an outsider in to teach and coach or promote from within? What type of teaching jobs are available? So many questions so few answers

Can you share the name of the soon-to-be out of work coaches?

Can you think of a viable replacement or speculate as to a list of names? What was the explanation for the release?

Surprised is an understatement here. I know she had supporters as well as nonsupporters. Guess the latter of the two had more pill here. First State appearance in several years and a final four. What's going on in Maysville?
