If it's true that they only want the field for football use then I don't feel sorry for them anymore. Those fields cost too much money for only one team to be able to use it. I'd be shocked and disappointed if this is the mentality at Pulaski County and the reason for the NO vote.

That shouldn't be an issue. All the BOE has to say is that it is a multi-purpose field for everyone's use. Boy's and girl's soccer, softball, middle school soccer/football and little league football all use the turf field at Boyle County.

How dumb can you be to be smoking weed in your room that is on campus? Nevermind the stupidity that comes with risking your future with smoking weed in the first place. He has been in trouble already and then he chose to smoke weed on campus in his apartment? :lol2: Just stupid......

If they can't get a new field I could see him leaving after this season. This group of seniors is way too good to leave. After this year I could see him leaving if the school board doesn't right this wrong.

Dang, the funding was in place and they still said no? That's crazy. I haven't seen Southwestern's football field but I do like their campus layout. Very impressive looking.

Not sure. I'll see what I can find out. I only saw outrage from Pulaski County.

Needless to say there is a ton of outrage in Somerset right now over the football field and its condition.
