  1. Well yes. Not forfeit. But if I'm correct, Brossart is the only team in the 37th who has played Calvery (besides the Grove). Didn't they forfeit matched with Scott and Campbell? Yes, Brossart will struggle with finding guys to replace all the seniors leaving next year. Although, that is my opinion.
  2. Haha yes I know! I know Calvary and Silber Grove take the 4 and 5 seed. When did they start accepting defeat? Was this the first year they started forfeiting games with other 37 district teams?
  3. So with the drawing on Wednesday this gives Scott, Campbell, Brossart all a 33% chance to get the one seed? Can't wait to see who gets lucky.
  4. No. There is a drawing held next Wednesday to decide 1,2,3 seeds in the district... There will be no coin flip.
  5. Seeding goes into a drawing conducted next Wednesday....
  6. My comment was in reference to the statement that it is usually Scott and Campbell that are battling for the district title.
  7. Well yes, you're right. Not like a complete turnaround... sorry misunderstood, but he has the program heading in the right direction!
  8. 1. Wilson 2. Ohmer 3. Crawford 4. Williams 5. Allen
  9. Whoever the coach is at Bishop Brossart should get the award. He has turned that program around to contenders of the 10th crown.
  10. Great game. Cov Caths athleticism and will to get to the basket killed Scott late in the game. Scott fought hard until late in the 3Q- early 4Q when the fouls kept piling in. Loved to see Scott keep up with CCH pace. Chad Ohmer will be a beast as he gets older and stronger, love watching the kid play, has such a nice stroke.
  11. I'm just saying. The play happened right under the basket. Ohmer drove from the top of the key. Baseline ref called a blocking foul and counted the and-1. Sideline ref came running in calling a charge. My question was how did he have a clear view of the play from the sideline to basically overturn the and-1. Ohmer got no shot and the basket didn't count.
  12. Ohmer number one for sure, no questions or doubt about it.
  13. Baseline ref called the initial blocking call and counted the and-1. Turned his back to sideline ref 60+ feet away and the refs had a conference. Asked both coaches to meet at midcourt to discuss call which was eventually changed. My question is how did the sideline ref see whether or not the defenders feet were in place to call the charge? And how does the sideline ref have power to overturn the baseline ref who was right infront of the play? Baseline ref made the correct call... killed Scotts momentum, obviously. poor officiating.
  14. your opinon is wrong, sorry, you must have not seen them play enough this year...
  15. Why are we arguing over it? Obviously it was poor officiating and you had to be at the game at an un-bias view to see it. This is Scott fans vs. Campbell fans at the moment. Scott clearly had momentum. Scott was clearly undersized and their two "bigs" we're beating Wilson to his spot all night, maybe except for 2 times they called Wilson on the contact (which he initiated every time). Refs were eager to call Ohmer on his fouls once he was getting bullied by the other team and fans, called two to three touch calls towards the heat of the game which he blew up and got the T. Although, did see a couple of CC players talk to the refs the same way some Scott players did and had no call. I'm not even going to get on the topic of the Blarge call as you say it, poor and I mean poor call, would have given Scott momentum, game changed from that point on. Ohmet wasn't given his and-1 and picked up his 3rd foul I believe. Anywho. Campbell did well with the adversity. Scott couldn't seem to adjust late in the game. Also missing key free throws within 3 minutes. Scott will learn, hope to see a rematch come district time.
  16. maybe not a down year, just a more competitive year??? Maybe?
  17. Boring. Highland is poor this year. Not beating around the bush... Sigh. 29 points won't win you very many games.
  18. Jake Ohmer breaks the Scott high school all time scoring record as well tonight
  19. Sorry I disagree, some teams in the middle of the pack that can still win the region...
  20. Williams Snapp from Augusta Crawford Hegyi I'm sorry I just don't see Wilson as being a top 5... Also, I have seen the young man from Scott, I think Englemon is his name. Very fast and agile player. Great on the defensive side. Doesn't seem to get a lot of PT. I believe he transferred from North College Hill in Ohio. Would love to watch him some more.
