I think Prater was the best Freshman in the region, I saw every team in the region play at least once. Most more than once. If you saw Prater's play toward the end of the season I think you would agree. He played like a man-child against Lawrence in a hard fought road win against arguably the best team in the 15th. And again, Redparth, was the only kid I know who had previously lived in Maryland. Not sure who you're referring to?

Ok. Michael Prater. Rising Sophomore. Had a great season. Confidence and gameplay increased throughout the entire season. Can score, rebound, defend well. Maturing and getting better everyday. Had a gangbuster performance in all the summer games so far. Raining 3s yesterday against Johnson Central. I'd say last year's best Freshman in the region.

Morgan County is looking good for this year. Played Johnson Central last night. Won easily 71-56 Also defeated Bath County as well. Several thunderous dunks by Jordan Perry.

Not to stir the pot, but I just saw the 2015 AP KY Boy AllState team listing. Only one 16th region player on it, honorable mention- Jordan Perry, Morgan Co.
