I too have no dog in this fight, in terms of the schools involved. But I tire very quickly when I hear the traditional "better education" and "win a title at a higher level" refrain. As a long time coach, and everywhere I have ever been as the coach in charge of handling college recruiters, I can tell you definitively that college programs eagerly jump on talented players who stuck it out in the districts, and schools, where they should be attending, and helping to build their local program. The heart, loyalty and perseverance that is required to do that is a trait that cannot be taught, and is highly valued by programs at the next level. And anybody who knows anything about education, knows that 75% of education revolves around the home environment, not in schools that target academic achievers who require little assistance, expel students who "do not meet the requirements" and then boast about their "academic success".
