Scott 78 Simon Kenton 69
ABSOLUTELY! It is a game after all..... As someone said on here previously, there is some talent at Scott that has been "overlooked" It is shinning now. With multiple players in double digits every game they are hard to defend. Still have their work to do and some holes to fill in, but looking good heading into the second half : )

Not the athlete....the situation.

It DOES effect the outcome....you can no longer say you are undefeated.

Yes. Scott has been busy losing and learning against teams like E town and Sacred Heart. Made them better. Made them stronger. Undefeated? No. Getting stronger? Yes. Great win Lady Eagles!!!!

No Ky Coaches Poll - Week #4
Bingo. And to be fair probably a very smart move from coach to do so as they have a lot of young talent and a "new player" to the pioneer scene. Gives them time to gel. But for pioneer fans to be boasting an undefeated record just looks silly as other teams are out playing challenging games and maybe not getting all Ws but gaining experience. Keep tooting your horn guys. It'll all come out in the end who's best.

Regarding that last sentence....... The overconfidence effect is a well-established bias in which a person's subjective confidence in his or her judgments is reliably greater than the objective accuracy of those judgments, especially when confidence is relatively high.

Week #3 - No Ky Coaches Poll
There are teams that have challenged themselves out of the gate knowing win or lose it will make them better and more prepared in the long run. Playing a difficult schedule and playing teams that are big, or skilled, or fast, or whatever the case may be will expose your weaknesses and tell you where you need work. And it will give you confidence when you find you can play up to the challenge. It probably won't give you an undefeated schedule but you work and you play the game and you have fun. I do understand on the other hand padding the schedule up front to give a team confidence when necessary (esp when they are young). So I think looking at early wins and loses is futile unless you are really paying attention to each and every game and how it was won or lost.

Week #3 - No Ky Coaches Poll
You can say you are "undefeated" all day long, but the real measuring stick is who you win and lose to.

Maybe they should have come to Lexington and actually played the top teams in the state this weekend if they think they can play with them.
