Why doesn't SK's Qb have an offer? Isn't he in the same class?

One offer more than 99% of all other HS Qb's.

All the above are great points. This is why HS numbers mean very little in the recruiting world. Then my question is. Who's the best? The kid with better numbers or the kid who gets offers at the D-1 level?

I would hope a HS coach would see what the D1 coaches see. This kid to get that early of an offer must have something most other QBs don't.

That is true. What if the guy in front of him is just as good and in the same class. Both QBs. Then it's time to find the right place.

Height weight/speed for position, game film, stats. I think this is the order skill are looked at.

Your not getting recuirted until you have an offer. So how was that not spreading misinformation? If kids were getting recuirted why didn't they take them up on that offer?

We will see. I don't know how good he will be. All I know is he has a free ride already. that puts him in a better spot than all other QBs in NKY already. You question if he's going to start? kid has great numbers and the biggest honor of all. d1 offer! This is better than all star team, all what ever team. Coaches know that.

Not many kids enter their JR. year as a top QB in the state.

The same things were said last year before games. Heck Hudl videos of players were posted. Claims of D1 schorlships have been made. None of that came true. The player posted in the Hudl video had a bad game. Why he was blocked by a real D1 player the whole game. I'm sure this year will be the same....

What does a team sport have to do with finding the right place for your son to play? So if you could send your son to let's say SK. And he would sit the bench for 4 years or, send him to say BW and he starts and gets a D1 schorliship to Ohio State. What would you do?

What's wrong with the Dad checking the lay of the land so to speak? Who needs a high level QB? I'm sure the father wants his son to go to college for free and play football. I think a lot of people would do the same to promote their child. Look he is in a spot that only 1% of HS football players are. Why not look for the best for your son.
