I was at the Central Game, have a friend that went to the Meade County game and talked to him on the phone, think I have my finger on the pulse of the local teams, also work with a friend who was at the John Hardin game who gave me updates, Go John -

At the end of Last season, Central hired Meade Countys defensive coordinator as head coach (Mattingly), brings that Meade defensive edge and toughness to Central, believes that Defense sets the tone. Defense will take you far in the post season. -

Bryan station will be a challenge but Central has something special going this year and it starts on the defensive side of the ball. I am sorry but the 6A Lexington schools just haven't seen the level of defense that central and meade play, that my opinion. The best defensive team that I have seen this year is Male -

We will welcome Bryan station to the Lions den next week with open arms. -
2 Lexington schools down, 2 to go, way to go Meade and Central. I said it this week and I will say it again, defense wins
-
Good luck Meade County, Central Hardin, would love to see a rematch with Central Hardin in the quarterfinals
-
I am realistic and know that it would be a tall task for Central Hardin to beat Scott County regardless of location, but I would rather have them at home. I would put Male, Scott County, ST X, and Trinity in front of Central as far as talent, lets roll the dice and see what happens.

I think that if John can get by Bullitt East their road to an annual meeting with Bowling Green is within reach. If John cant stop Bullitt East run game it could be a long night

Have fun with Coach Perry, New Central Hardin coach, Mattingly from Meade County, has brought a toughness and hard nosed defensive philosophy that was missing from last years team. Attitude and passion starts with the defense and has an effect on the rest of the team. I just think Central Hardin has the IT factor this year. They still have a tough road but have the opportunity to play at home through out the playoffs. By the way since Central and Meade are in the same region, they have a lot to do with the success of those running backs.

Let me guess, lost both, right
-
Umm, they water their field down and run it down your throat, if he plans on cutting on this field good luck. Will be the worst field conditions they will have played on all season, guaranteed
-
I know its hard to believe that someone plays defense living in Lexington
-
Ask Male how effective they were running against Meade this year
-
Actually it wouldn't be the same team, maybe the same team that was an awful dead play whistle away from beating Scott County last year
-
Meade County and Central Hardins aggressive defenses set the tone for these teams, there will be no shootouts playing at Meade County in the Swamp or at Central Hardin
-
Nice article from the land of no defense, I guess giving up over 60 points is an advantage
-
Looking down the road to the state quarterfinals I see an interesting match up between Scott County and Central Hardin. I believe Central Hardin has home field advantage and is playing the best football of the season right now
-
Lets see what Bufords got against Meade County. I would be willing to bet he doesn't break 100 yards

Maybe your coach will quit too, after losing to Bowling Green 8 straight years -
