Had 3 subs last night but only used one. Have 3 other girls (one starter who has missed all yr) that are out. So if everyone was healthy boone would have 17.

What do I get for guessing the score of BC vs NCC? Lol This Boone team won't back down or be scared of ND!! It'll be a good game. Boone can score and defend. If they play like they did last night again they will give ND fits and we will see if they can handle the pressure! Looking forward to a good match.

I'm not saying all the refs would give calls to there alma mater but it only takes one. I think he did a great job myself and didn't hear alot of complaints from the Dixie fans about his calls.

I don't believe they monitor this very closely. I watched Boone vs Dixie boys match a few weeks back and the side judge graduated and played soccer for Boone. This certainly shouldn't be allowed!

Only subbing 1 girl your gonna have players making runs and being a little winded. They had about a 10 min period in the second half where they looked tired but after the go ahead goal they sure looked energized!! Defense was solid all night and limited Tolle to 1 shot on goal other than the free kick she put in.

Oh sorry. I thought she was the girl on crutches for them coming off the field.

Well played match between both teams! NCC has nothing to hang their heads about. They had a great season! Yes Martin was out tonight on crutches but I'm not sure even with her she stops either goal. This was the best game boone has played all year! Although they got gassed a time or two only playing one sub they have FINALLY come together as a team. This was a fun one to watch. Only hope Fridays game is as exciting! Best of luck to the ND girls on Friday!!

Looking back the voting must have been after the first round of state games. The paper reported them on Nov 5th which was semi final weekend I believe. So, the voting does not take place after the tournament but during. Maybe the commitee should rethink this? Makes perfect sense to me

I am not sure of the injury but did hear she will be out the remainder of the season. Must have happened in the district finals. She didn't play monday.

I believe what the coach said. His exact words were he walked in and it was. Nemo, Nemo, Nemo. He said there were a couple other girls brought up but most coaches just changed the subject back to Nemo. It is a shame that's how things are in voting for such prestigious awards like this! Nemo is a great player but I agree she wasn't the best player in the state last year.

I think this game will be a little different than the regular season game. My gut says different as I watched HHS outplay NDA on Sr night at NDA but my head says NDA is gonna be focused and want this one more. 3-2 NDA wins

I gotta go with my Rebels here. I think they are clicking on all cylinders right now! This should be a good one. I think Boone puts in a corner kick late in the 2nd half and wins 2-1.

I believe the state voting is after the state tournament. I was told by a coach on the state comittee that it was pretty much already determined Nemo was Miss Ky soccer before even walking into the room!! It seemed to me like Nemo last year played it safe and didn't put forth the kind of effort that we were used to seeing the prior years. This was probably because she didn't want to get injured since she had already signed with UK but that's how I saw it.

No OG I didn't get to see you. Hope you enjoyed the game! Well played match I thought. Boone played well most of the game with some wonderful crosses and finishes early. Think they put it in cruise during the 2nd half but still dominated the mid-field and possesed the ball well. If they lock down on Tolle tomorrow they can pull off the upset. This will be a different game. Boone was without 2 starters last time they played. Those 2 players back should make a difference. Should be a good one!! Good luck to the final four teams. Boone has been playing good considering all the injuries they have sustained! Down to 13 players as another backup went down with a knee injury tue night. I expect the starting 11 to play and play the majority of the game monday and beyond if they win! Boone doesn't have to rely on just one girl scoring this year as in years past. Hoping they get a better draw than the last couple
