For those upset about the ticket prices.. as everyone mentions - these prices are set by KHSAA. The Assistant Commissioner in charge of Soccer per the KHSAA website is Mr. Mike Barren Primary Sports Assignments – Soccer. They list their websites and I would expect they encourage constructive input by the fans/parents of the sports. No need to gripe on the public forum and try to get under each others skin. Just send Mike a polite statement voicing your displeasure for their set pricing. Hopefully this doesn't go against any forum bylaws... they post their contact information publicly for feedback. I do agree on Maher...just a little more than a guess. Not enough date to give accurate reading. SOS in general may show a good team in weak district with a ton of goals. Same team playing better SOS likely to yield less win margin... All things aside, Scott is most dangerous team in tourney....

Anyone have access to the sprinklers at St. H.... just need to make sure they are turned on tonight... All kidding aside... anyone that saw the last St. H home game and the amount of slipping and falling on a "dry" field will surely understand how quickly the conditions will deteriorate with some afternoon rain tomorrow. Lets see if I follow correctly... a 17yo in an emotional game with a few hundred "crazies" screaming and taunting him - he reacts. Not in the appropriate manner, but he reacts. Condone it, no, understand the reality of what occurred - yes. Step forward to an adult maybe 64yo that says "maybe riding him is the only way to let him know what he did...is unacceptable". I would say that "riding him" isn't necessarily the right response as well. In my opinion, both are wrong - but lets check again... a 17yo reacting and a 64yo saying we need to ride a 17yo.... Get a grip my friend. Almost reminds me of a Dixie soccer game I was at just 2 weeks ago when an opposing player was down and injured (same person sat out much of sophmore with an injury).... Dixie parent keeps yelling flop... flop... guess that was good old parenting where the injured was going to be ridden to the point of jumping up and apologizing for wasting their time... Flipping someone off as child or adult, wrong. We, as adults know that. Dealing with it by bashing and calling for grown adults to ride him, to me, is even more sad. Then again, I'm just one opinion. Carry on with the online parenting.....

Agree, congrats to all the boys for playing a strong well fought year (no hidden meaning in "fought"... not trying to get a few started on cards...). Don't know how many were "cheated" but as mentioned, the coaching input into many coaches nominations and polls can be lacking if not even political within a school at times. So sad to see it really. As mentioned, a lot of great didn't get mentioned, hope it is not simply due to pressure within a program or school. I'll just leave it at that.. As also mentioned, when the dust settles, we (NKY.. 9th region etc..) need to root for someone to lend legitimacy to NKY soccer with a big win. Let the games begin!
