As in the last 3 years, turnovers will decide the Murray game. OC was exposed a bit with N. Hardin's passing game and 2nd half adjustments shut it down. Morton is the X factor that OC has not had in recent years...

Ocath in a walk this Friday. Too much offense, the D will be shaky but hold up. The nice thing I see this year is that there are enough players on both sides of the ball so that the studs do not have to play both ways...other than the Jacob kid. The line is a question mark with not much experience, but yes OC will have a stellar regular season. OC 48- LHC - 14

Have to agree with Bowtie that Ray Zuberer at Owensboro Catholic is at or near the top. He fits their system perfectly, just like Hartz and Hardesty did before him...

Agree with Rambo, offense is basically loaded again this year and potentially better than last. Defense seems to be missing that one stud either on the line or at db. Linebackers are solid. Barring injury, another 9-1 year and collision with Murray.

After having been through it as a parent, being "invited" to a school's camp is nothing noteworthy. The coach usually just wants butts in seats and dollars coming in. Granted, if there is a standout, he will get noticed...but camp interest is alot different than recruiting interest. We did the Manning passing academy too, and for a 8th grader or freshman, it is pretty cool. For a rising junior or senior looking to get recruited, its a waste of time and money.

There were games where it seemed either Boarman or Reed made every tackle. They were always on the ball...their smaller size was probably an advantage in alot of games.

Hmmm, I've never been called a crackhead before, that's a good one... a dropped TD in the endzone before that FG was the difference maker last year. Cool thing is that last year's QBs for OC and Murray are roommates at Murray State this year...

This is the 5th year in a row Murray and OC have clashed in the playoffs with Murray taking the last 3 games over supposedly better OC teams. Lots of "ifs" to this game...but I see it shaping up like the 2011 game, where OC had high powered offense but Murray grinds the possessions and the clock to keep the OC offense off the field. However, OC has better overall skill positions than the 2011 team and if OC gets the lead and makes Murray play from behind, OC will win. OC 42-35
