I'm going to go with Brossart. I think Brossart can slow the pace of the game down to frustrate Holmes. I think opening night at a new stadium Holmes will want to do more than win, they'll want to win big. If Holmes gets behind early look for mistakes trying to catch up which will play into Coach Wiggins offense that much more. Brossart has to avoid giving up the big play on special teams allowing Holmes back in the game. Brossart's defense swarms to the ball effectively, so look for Holmes to use misdirection to open up the field.

The camels will be alright this year. Smallwood is a nice player. He's as fast of a player you'll see with size to go with it. He was an absolute load with the ball.

The score could have been worse. Camel goalie made a nice stop on a penalty kick and the one of the camels goals went through the hands of the mustang goalie. The score woulda, coulda, shoulda been 7-1.

Nice district win. Our front 4 played at a fast pace tonight and the score shows it.

It's a low scoring game. NCC not tested by Scott's D and the jury is still out on Coopers opponent last week. Flip a coin on who wins because a victory still doesn't say if either one of these teams has a successful season.

Green Devil touchdown was called back on crackback penalty. I would imagine this rule will eliminate a lot of reverse plays, unless players are more disciplined when blocking. I understand the rule but I don't agree with it. Football is a rough game that's why we use helmets and pads. If they don't want us to hit either remove the helmets and pads or make us play flag.
