I think the home field advantage at Russell will be the difference but it will be close. Russell 35 West Carter 28

Final score not indicative of the game as Bath County was up 47-16 with 5 minutes to play and pulled the starters. Bath Co with nearly 500 yards of offense including 170 thru the air.

Rowan is a good team. Everyone is discounting them but they are good.

Estill Co is coming off a road win at Boyd Co. Bath Co is coming off a tough loss to Mr. Robinson and Western Hills. Western Hills is the only common opponent for the 2 teams to date. Estill Co lost 50-15 to WH with a running clock as Robinson had 5 scores on 12 touches. Bath Co lost 20-0 as Robinson only scored twice, one of which was late in the 4th quarter. The Wildcats cost themselves 2 TD's with 2 costly turnovers inside the 10 yard line, one of which was a pick 6 just before halftime. I'll take Bath Co by 3 TD's in a game that may not see 10 total passes from both teams combined.

Russell gets a W but......happy Boyd won a couple of games but Fairview and South Point are not good at all.

Thoughts and predictions?

I think they voted to do that starting with the realignment next season as there has not been a ranking to reseed established.

Lewis Co has given up 144 points in 3 games while only managing to score 49 total. Long season on the river.

Pirates are on their way to back to back district titles and a 9-1 regular season.

Rowan is much better than they will be given credit for.

Robinsons numbers will look good but they will be mostly on 2 very long runs where he was just Wandale. Bath County had nearly 250 rushing but the turnovers were killers literally as one was on the 3 yard line 2 and goal and the other a 90 yard pick six.

3 Bath County turnovers lead directly to 2 of 3 WH touchdowns. Wandale is Wandale and made 2 long runs. Bath Co moved the ball between the 10’s and had 2 turnovers inside the 10 including a 90 yard pick six.
