The Mason County Royals with a record of 11-14 (4-5 in Region) travel to Mt Sterling tonight to take on the Indians of Montgomery County. Mason County without Leevi Dunaway will be in search for a desperate win tonight. The Royals and the Indians met eariler this season when Garrison & Dunaway were playing, and routed the Indians. Should be a good game now that Mason County is without both Garrison & Dunaway. I look for this one to be a barn burner. Who wins & why? Hopefully I will meet someone from BGP tonight! I'll be down at the old Cracker Barrel tonight pregrame to get somwe grub since Maysville is lacking great eats.

Sadly I am scheduled to work Thursday-Sunday, so I will not be in attendance, but will be cheering on and following the coverage from the Ville in Mason County. Good luck to all the teams playing and may the best team win.

I figure this win for the hounds will fuel the bus to Frankfort, hopefully they will turn it up for the 10th Region.

Was getting ready to post stats but @sumoroyal beat me to it. If Mason County wants to do anything in Region, they need to get the game rolling. Mason faces Rowan at home on Friday, then Boyd County on Saturday and then Montgomery County next Tuesday. Paris out played the Royals tonight and came off the better team. Hats off to their program for ending the 26 year drought.

Paris Greyhounds will travel up US 62 to Maysville Tuesday to face off against the Mason County Royals. Mason County with a record of 11-11 is looking to have guard Sam Kumler back and possibly, but not likely, forward Dalton Perkins. Mason County routed Lewis County Saturday after dropping two others (Greenup County & Pendleton County). Paris with a record of 14-6, after defeating Harrison County by 31 are riding on a 5 game win streak. Will the Royals "upset" the Greyhounds like last years Region Tournament or will the Greyhounds take this one & run with it all the way to the Capitol and reign in the All A Tounrament? Who wins, by how many and why??

This post is to people who are saying Mason Co should be banned from postseason play next season: Why punish the whole team for one players action? This is not college, we don't do postseason bans on teams, plus, you don't have viable evidence on what happened. Only the school knows what happened.
