So Goodin has quit Hoop Dreams and is now playing for Manimal? Interesting... Any word on why he quit playing for HD?

I guess we will never know.... The Best want to play against the Best. No other league compares to the EYBL and to State otherwise is just absurd IMO.... Almost all of UKs team and the primary players on Dukes team played in the EYBL. Are there talented teams in the other leagues? Yes... The top 4-5 teams in Adidas and UA can likely compete and win in the EYBL. Outside of those 4-5 the depth of talent is not as prevalent...

Oh and let's not forget this exact duo took their team to the elite 8 last year too...

Are you basing "BEST" off talent, college offers, production, or etc??? If it is off of production, the proof is in the pudding... Not saying the other duos aren't good as well, but I am saying that big names don't impress me as much as overall production... From an Offensive and "Defensive" standpoint, this duo has to be considered one of the top. They led their high school team that had no "True" post player to the State Championship game knocking out one or two of the aforementioned duos. A real basketball enthusiast can see past the stats and hype of other duos...

WKY Elite 16s beat Hoop Dreams Orange (the main team) by almost 20 in the Semi Final to advance to the Championship against Team United EYBL. HD 17s beat Team Manimal in a close game to advance to the Championship against Team Thad... Team Thad forfeits game saying, "We have already beaten them once by 30..." Wow!

Team United will probably beat Team Thad in the Semi Final. Even though HD placed 2nd in their pool, they definitely got the better draw.

WKY Elite 16U goes 3-0... I told you guys they were my sleeper team!

I must admit that I am somewhat surprised that KY Elite kept it as close as they did for so long... As good as Team Thad has been hyped up to be, I would have expected the game to be more lopsided. Could it be that Team Thad is just NOT the team everybody thought, or is KY Elite just better than expected?
