  1. With Elijah Sindelar sitting at 119 career TDs passes, just 14 short of the state record, I would like to see him get 5-7 more in this game. The game will be televised on WPSD TV's side channel. The way I see it, Caldwell should win 63-28 :dancingpa
  2. I believe that this one will be a struggle in the 1st half, but my Tigers will break the visiting Wildcats' backs early in the 2nd half and run away 70-27
  3. Lexington Catholic 3 Bowling Green 3 Murray 1 Iroquois 1 Warren Central 1 North Hardin 1 Marshall 1 Fulton County 1 Pike Central 1 Cooper TB 63
  4. Caldwell got the ball to start the 2nd half and never looked back. 27-0 in the 2nd half :dancingpa
  5. Wow, Randy! You are good! I was on the front row, but you have better #s. lol

  8. The defense will be much better this year with Cain, Boyd, and Anderson playing both ways.
  9. What can you say about a team that averaged over 50 points per game last year and went undefeated until the regional finals, and returns all of its skilled weapons? First off, you can say that this year's Tiger team has more speed and another year of experience under its belt. An exciting 2013 season was cut short on a very cold, very rainy November night at Tiger Stadium by a very good Murray Tigers team. The Tiger players, coaches, and fans are ready to put that out of their minds and move on to 2014 with a chip on their shoulder and their goal this season is nothing short of bringing home the 2A state championship in their last season in that division. First and foremost, when it comes to bullets in Coach David Barnes' cylinder is four year starter at QB, Elijah Sindelar. The Purdue-commit, Sindelar, checks in at 6'4 215 lbs. He is currently sitting on 95 passing TDs for his career, only 39 short of the Kentucky State High School record. Elijah is an unassuming young man, yet a vocal leader on the Tiger team. He should be in a season-long race for the coveted Mr. Football award. Jaylen Boyd, 5'11 175 lbs. SR RB/CB, and another four year starter returns for hopefully his 4th straight 1000 yard season. He is very quick, with breakaway speed once he reaches the open field. Caldwell County's big strength will come in its receiving corp. The WRs on the Tiger team have looked better and faster, while growing deeper than last year's crew. Eli Pepper, 6'8 220 lbs. SR, leads the returning WRs. Coming off a 1,008 yd., 12 TD season. He is joined by another D1 prospect in Dee Cain, 6'2 220 lbs. WR/CB, who caught 13 TDs last season. Also coming back after an 800 yd season is 6'4 220 lbs. JR, Elijah Anderson. Joining them, after seeing large amounts of time last year is Josh Young, 5'10 155 lbs. JR. He is very speedy, with great hands. The Oline returns seniors, Chas Scott and Kale Dyer, and 6'4 303 lbs. junior Jordan Felker, who is coming off a year off due to injury. To go with these guys, it is said that there are quite a few in the sophmore class fighting for playing time. Now to the Tiger Defense. After platooning all of last year, this year 3 players are going to see large amounts of time on both sides of the ball. They are CBs Dee Cain and Jaylen Boyd, and LB Elijah Anderson. Also returning are DLinemen Drake VanHooser, Sean Conger, and Chase Harper. The defense should be deeper, faster and stronger this year. Kicking duties will come down to a battle between Ohio County-transfer, JR Chris Logsdan and SR Connor McEnenany. Both are said to have a strong leg and accurate. This should be another great year to be a Caldwell County Tigers fan!
  10. This is an award for what you do in high school, not how good of a recruit you are. There is not a better candidate than Elijah Sindelar. He will end up with the all time KY TDs record, God-willing and no injuries.
  11. In my top ten I have Caldwell County #1, but I might be a little bit partical to the Tigers .
  12. After watching the Caldwell County boys today, none of them are going anywhere, except to work on winning that elusive championship .
