  1. Astro-turf in his backyard? A brother named Lawn Boy? Good thing you picked a different career, if you can't trust your own brother to cut your grass who can you trust.
  2. Ok so this moron pours cold milk on himself and runs naked through an air conditioned Wal-Mart? I refuse to watch the video but........shrinkage?
  3. Shamrock has that Charles Manson look in his eyes. Dude is definitely not hitting on all cylinders.
  4. Dave Faust was New Caths varsity baseball coach and JV basketball coach before moving on to coach varsity basketball only.
  5. I blame Wireman.... You come on BGP showing pictures of the sharks you caught, tick off the shark community and now the attack is on. Coincidence? I think not....
  6. Make sure Mrs. LB don't put any bait in the pockets of your swim trunks. Hate to see you go out in the ocean with shrimp in your pockets.
  7. I guess that prom picture of RCC9 should be popping up any time now!
  8. I know at Campbell County if you are NOT in their feeder schools you can not play on any of the school teams or summer league teams, even if that kid plans on attending CCHS. We've had kids in the past that went to St. Mary's that were no doubt going to CCHS but couldn't play on any school affiliated team. On the other hand we've had kids in our feeder schools all the way to 8th grade that opted to attend NCC, HHS and Brossart. It does seem sometimes our hands are tied and their are unfair advantages. I'm sure Brossart feels that way about St. Mary's and St. Joes kids going to Ncc and both Ncc and Brossart feel that way with a lot more St. Joes kids attending Cov Cath. Not sure what's right and what's wrong but I feel like RCC9, give me the kids that want to be there, if a parent is willing to drive a kid from Campbell County to Kenton County to attend Cov Cath everyday then so be it. I want kids that want to be at that school not ones that are second guessing their decision.
  9. Who wouldn't like purple and gold? Come on man!!
  10. Someone told me that Kurt Sutters next show is called "The Executioner" based on Medieval times. Anyone else heard that or know more about it?
  11. It was my 1st time seeing Mr. Barrett play. Very impressed with him. He had an exceptional game, good size, very athletic and nice hands. Young man has game.
  12. Price played excellent. Had a 40 yard run. I believe he scored 2TDs. Kids quick and elusive. Dom ran good but didn't get many carries. Zajak was the work horse tonight.
  13. Only thing I didn't like about tonight was they didn't show where the kids were going to college on the rosters. Would love to know where some of these kids are going.
  14. Kid is a beast. With him and Joseph in the backfield. Wow. I thought it was a fun game to watch. Hard hitting for an all star game.
  15. I agree with everything you said except the violent retaliation. I don't consider it violent but rather consider it teaching a life lesson to a bully. I guess its just the way I was raised. I wouldn't let the Pope, a catcher or Jesus Christ do that to me without sending a message. I'm not saying I'm right, just saying what I would of done.
  16. I've seen it a handful of times in college and been on the end of a bean ball (and knew it was coming but couldn't get out of the way). Every time I was apart of it a message was always sent. Let me be clear that I'm not advocating a pitch to the face and finishing a career. I say ear hole, but middle of the back or high and tight. College coach would of not been happy if a message wasn't sent. My roommate pitched for 12 years in the MLB and he would send a message with a 95 mph up and in if someone was crowding the plate or leaning over it and if the catcher did what she did, shame on them. But it's all good. You don't agree with a message and I do. That's what makes baseball a great game. Always like talking baseball whether i agree or not.
  17. I agree with you on the immediate retaliation will cost you. If the first girl would of jumped up and took a swing at the catcher, that would be bad. But there is always next play, next inning, next game to send a message. I never said anything about blowing out her knee (I don't agree with that). Now if the umpire does his job and tosses her after the first elbow then laugh and wave bye to her but he allowed her to do it twice. I can promise you when I played college baseball that our team and any other team we played would of retaliated. 100% guaranteed and I have seen plenty of damage that a ball can do.
  18. No tough guy stuff, just defending a teammate. The tough guy stuff was the cheap shot the catcher took. You play the game like that and you better be on your toes every play and every at bat. Just curious what you would do with the same scenario but your team is losing? Just act like everything is ok, smile, turn the other cheek and go to the dugout? Sorry not me. Nothing worse than getting beat and beat up in the same game. The second time I blame on the umpire because she should of been tossed after the first incident. She shouldn't lose her scholarahip but if the other team doesn't want to turn the other cheek and retaliates? I have zero problem with it and yes I'm ok with one in the earhole. Not being a tough guy, just not going to turn the other cheek and allow that side to be slapped.
  19. By the way the umpire allowed it, I doubt I get thrown out of the game. If it was a close game then I would be smart about it, the next time the catcher was at bat, she would get one in the ear hole if we had a big lead I would take a 3 game suspension for putting her against the backstop. What more do I need? To send a message that your not going to take cheap shots at my teammates and get away with it.
  20. If I'm the second girl, I plant the catcher against the backstop. No way the catcher gets a chance to do the same to me.
