  1. After the first District Championship in 5 years, Coach Wallace's teaching and coaching contracts were not renewed. Wallace was retaliated against by superintendent Joshua Powell and assistant superintendent Phil Rison because they thought she filed a Title IX complaint against the district last summer (she didn't). See this article for more details: Sources Confirm Additional Powell Investigations Athletics are a mess in Montgomery County, just look at the men's basketball program, and everyone knows Phil Rison runs athletics there. The education messes with the superintendent are well documented.
  2. Curry had countless errors in serve receive for one. I just have always thought Amy was way better than people give her credit for. Not to mention always very kind and respectful.
  3. Shocking that the coach's daughter and niece were both on all district team. Their libero is their best player, IMO.
  4. Are you implying that their hire last year (Tony Wise) wasn't a good choice? Tony did a great job, was passionate about basketball and the athletes, and is a wonderful man. Their mistake wasn't hiring him, it was firing him.
  5. There are currently 17 coaching positions posted in the school district. I feel for the kids. No one will want to come to MOCO with what is going on. Athletic programs will go downhill. All this because of a selfish agenda.
  6. There are 2 Assistant Volleyball vacancies at Montgomery County High School.
  7. So far she is fine. They would be stupid to get rid of such a wonderful coach, especially with the record she has. Although nothing would surprise me anymore.
