Pendleton County wins the battle of the Ladycats in Falmouth yesterday afternoon.   Newport struck first, but PC went on a 9-0 run and never looked back.  Pendleton breaks a 7 game losing streak with the win after a tough couple of weeks.  Pendleton County is back in action on Tuesday night at home vs. Augusta.  Newport also plays at home on Tuesday against the Cincinnati Trailblazers.

Lily Ashcraft led a trio of double digit scorers for Pendleton (5-13) with 23. Kearstin Mayer and Hannah Spaulding added 14 apiece.  

Amariana Cook led Newport (2-12) with 14 and DeAjah White added 13. 

Lost by 4 points in the semis after winning the regular season...thanks to Amari Cooper playing the game of his life!

Nobody can.   I thought GRC may  have a shot at Sacred Heart, but not with Byars out for the season.  Too many weapons to overcome.

The death of cable through streaming will not end up like people expect.  Existing cable is a content wasteland but there may come a time when people miss having all their available shows, games, etc. available through one place.

Some TikToker will be live streaming it... I'll just watch it there.

Put up 31 points in his return...glad to see him back.  It certainly changes things in that 2nd tier of teams in the 10th. 

Augusta and Nicholas have already faced off once this season, with Augusta winning 72-57 on December 5 in the Panther's Den. 

Augusta has won the last 8 meetings. (one game canceled for COVID)

Nice win for the Wildcats.  They were led by Austin Kirsch's 22 point/14 rebound performance.

PC returns to action on Thursday night against another 40th District foe with a trip to face Bourbon County.

Nice work @brooksville.   We get #2 vs. #3 in the Fieldhouse on Tuesday night.  

My gut says we see Blake Reed back in uniform for that one. 

Saints pick up their 2nd win on the season, both over Robertson County (9 days apart).  Robertson beat St. Pat 76-34 on Dec. 5.

As someone who covers the 10th Region, it’s only reasonable to question why the preseason best player in the region has not played the last two games because of a “coaches decision” and has been benched in other games.  He was on pace to become the states second all time leading scorer behind Travis Perry before the season started.  That’s a pretty big deal!  

depends on which silly rumor you wanna go with... I'm sure you've heard them.

My gut says he's back in uniform on Tuesday night against Campbell County. 

No love for Fleming County... should be at least #3, and maybe higher IMO.

Nicholas would be the team I would tab to be the only other contender. 

As fate would have it, the Mustangs and Bluejackets face off tonight in Carlisle.

Panthers showed anyone who wasn't a believer already that they indeed belong in the 10th Region contender conversation.  They are (IMO), the favorites to win the All A. 

Royals were without the services of Blake Reed in this one (Coaches decision)

The mid '00s realignment statewide was substantial, eg, it's why we now have three KCPS schools in three different Regions.

this will NEVER make sense to me...however we do love having the Scott Eagles in the 10th.  Good folks all around.
