Corrected twice in the same thread now; thank you so much for the follow up!
I did NOT see the first post... I am SO sorry!

We (10th) had 10 before Silver Grove closed...now down to 9.

It's WAY more entertaining now that it has been.
Yes, the bar was set rather low.

🏆🐈⬛ MC | Pikeville | Final at Appalachian Wireless Arena per the interwebs.
❗The Panthers avenge last season's title game loss to fill the one remaining slot of the statewide bracket. They'll play 5th Region titleist Caverna Thursday in Round 1 at Corbin Arena.
🤔 Both teams won three times in the tournament. Martin Co. won the "play-in" game in the state's largest Regional field - nine teams.
Up next ~
Pikeville (10-3, R15 4-0, D59 0-0), Tuesday - 59th District contest at Shelby Valley.
Martin Co. (10-8, R15 4-2, D57 1-0), Friday - 57th District game at Paintsville.
Incorrect. 1st Region has 10.

Looks like Holmes and Holy Cross boys are going to play as well.
Be safe, man!
Just saw on Twitter per Evan Dennison that CovCath at Lloyd is canceled

I'm not sure. I know they are trying to play the CovCath at Lloyd game, and I also have been told they "want" to still play the 33rd District Boys / Girls doubleheaders tonight.
All of that said, you could be right. I was just out and about and the roads were fine, but I'm sure the dropping temperatures tonight will be a factor.
roads in NKY are improving I think... just not out here in the sticks. Mine was plowed and salted a few hours ago...you can't even tell.

The scoreboard at khsaa.org has the games listed and the cancellations noted already. About half the games on the boys' and girls' side are cancelled for tonight as of when I looked last.
the ones that haven't been canceled will be soon.

I would move Scott & Calvary back to the 9th. Bracken & Augusta the 38th. Robertson to the 39th.
I could definitely see a move to get all the Kenton County Schools in the same region.

There could also be a proposal that gets all the Kenton County schools in the same region. It's gonna be interesting.

Who would you propose goes?
it could look this way.
37th- NCC, Newport, Highlands, Bellevue, Dayton
38th- Brossart, Calvary, Campbell, Pendleton, Scott
39th- Bracken, Mason, Augusta, St. Pat, Fleming
40th- Bourbon, Paris, Nicholas, Harrison, Robertson
GRC to the 11th, Montgomery replaces Fleming in the 16th.

Really? Please share.
move someone from a 5 or 6 team (preferably the 6 team) district to the 3 team district. The 15th did it several years ago and moved Lawrence Co to a different district. Sometimes the geography doesn't make sense.

Cooper by 8. They're just too tough on the defensive end.

Are you predicting another “great crossing”?
Your wife came up with that, didn't she?

I don't think there's 25 better teams than Campbell County in the state. Them not making any of the rankings is a surprise to me.

With The addition of Cornerstone next year in Shelbyville to the 30th district the 8th will have 2 six team districts, one 3 team and one 4 team. Doesn’t make a lot of sense.
seems like the fix there is fairly simple.

Breeden is a special player. We hosted them in Falmouth a month or so ago... he put up an easy 39.
-
With the 9th having 21 schools, and the 10th only having 16, I could see some movement there.

Kelsey Plum 3527
Kelsey Mitchell 3402
Jackie Stiles 3393
Caitlin Clark 3306

$2.67 at Thornton's in Wilder this morning.

After Clark, the drop is precipitous.
I don't think Mason or Campbell are that far behind. Campbell has been batting illness the past week plus and Mason is battling...whatever it is they're battling. I wouldn't count either of them out in March.

Coach of the Year has to go to Monroe from Pendleton so far. What a job he’s done.
It's him or Brent Sowder from Campbell.

The only good game so far.
How can you not like Dan Campbell?

Congrats to LexCath on winning the 2A State Title.
Fleming Co made a heck of a run to get there...just ran into a buzzsaw. Both these squads are major contenders in their respective regions.
