Cotrell did pitch and could'nt get out of the 2nd or 3rd inning. Holy cross hit him well. He was a little wild, but threw 86-87 mph consistently with his FB. Senior Josh Kahmann (sp?) and senior Sam Mershon got the win, each pitched for 3 for HC.

HC pounded out 13 more hits!

Indians piching was sharp. Struck out 18 in 9 innings. Fuller threw 3 innings, 2 unearned runs, 6 k, Tiberi 3 innings no runs, 7 k, Woeste 2 inning 1 run 3 k and Giduligi got the win, 1 inning 2 k. Bats will come around. Little sloppy D, but overall for the first game of the year a good win!

Holy Cross looked good Saturday. Beat Dixie 11-1. Played 9 innings. HC played well in all 3 phases.

Kramer is a good ball player, but no where near 2 or 3 at the catcher position. Callery from Holy Cross is in the same league as Norton and Lankeit.

Norton hands down is the best catcher in NKY. Jake is very close!

It was Spata. At the Ohio Valley Perfect Game showcase it was laser which is the best way to time. Uk was stop watch, he ran 7.15. He ran 7.05 stop watch at the Chillicothe Showcase.

He does ran 6.93 60 yd dash and threw 84 mph from short at the Ohio Valley Perfect Game Showcase in Lexington in August.

The 16U Cincy Flames that Tiberi and Callery play for will play the Colonels 6/21 at Lakota West.

What was Krumps saying when he was quoted in the Enquirer that he throws a lefty at HC to neutralize the left handed heavy hitting lineup? They have Tiberi and Callery that swing from the left side. Johnson is a lefty but they DH for him. Now that is respect!
