  1. No one is suggesting that he was right to rob a bank. I'm not even suggesting Obamacare is the cure for all that ails. I'm just pointing out the issue, though some don't seem to think it is.
  2. You're assuming that of his back problems, foot problems, arthritis and carpal tunnel weren't pre-existing either. It doesn't take much to make you ineligible, or at least make insurance unaffordable.
  3. Guy tried to do it the right way working, got laid off, has health issues and can't get medical insurance and his part-time job doesn't pay the bills. What do you want him to do?
  4. Really? The story said he had two jobs and lost them both in the recession. He then took a part-time job to pay his bills but his health took a turn for the worse and that moeny wasn't enough. What's your solution for him? Obviously "robbing" a bank is wrong, but what should he have done?
  5. Pretty interesting story. Thoughts? Waited for police to show up
  6. But the transparent pie at Magee's is worth a trip?
  7. They didn't. It was just on a list to the side. The main list was things to do during the summer. There was an additional list of 7 things that you can do the other months of the year.
  8. Would you recommend the Underground Railroad Museum?
  9. Love Zakaria. Always has great stuff. I think I like the idea of updating to a more modern Constitution, but I can't imagine the legal and social battles if it were proposed.
  10. Is that old general store with "Rabbit Hash" written on the front still there?
  11. Anyone see this list in the Herald Leader? 50 places to see in Kentucky before you die. What ammendments/additions would you make to it? My girlfriend and I have decided we are going to try to hit them all this summer. I'm dorkily excited. http://www.kentucky.com/2011/06/17/1777221/the-kentucky-bucket-list-eat-drink.html
  12. I'd love to play a game with you all. I'm not sure how all that works, so it might be best if you sent me the invite. I've had the game for months, but you and statman were my first "friends".
  13. Reminds me of when NBC changed the song in the 9/11 montage days after the attacks to Simon and Garfunkel's "America" from "God Bless America" after people complained.
  14. I'm just the opposite. I like to hang out in certain areas in each map. I rarely just crouch, but I don't tend to stray very far. Array is probably the best sniper map, so I thought maybe that's what he liked.
  15. Alright guys, let's have it. What are your favorite maps? Here are mine: 1. Array 2. Shooting Range 3. Havana 4. Nuketown 5. Summit 6. WMD 7. Radiation 8. Villa 9. Jungle 10. Launch 11. Grid 12. Hanoi 13. Crisis 14. Cracked
  16. The guns that were sold had GPS tracking devices in them. I assume the guns were being sold to known cartel members or their affiliates with the hopes that they would smuggle them back into Mexico and we would be able to track movements.
  17. If this was a political manuever to ding the pro-gun folks, then heads should roll. 100%. Depending on how deep it went, I wouldn't even rule out charges against Obama. But if the intent was truly just to track these cartels, then while the deaths of Americans is truly regrettable and sad, it's not criminal what was done.
  18. Pretty sure about 10-15x more people died in Katrina.
