Yes it was a Great win for this young team. You talk about the 2007 team, which was a really good team but do you realize they actually only beat 1 team ( Pulaski )that had a winning record during the season and lost to teams that had winning records. Hats off to the 8 seniors we had this year 6 imbedded and to that came in and give it their all, never quit and love the game they played. So do you care if I ask what your problem with Lincoln is Eagle97.

I think Lincoln will continue their streak. I agree, but it could be a bigger margin than most think. Lincoln has a very young team which has improved with each week. I just don't understand why they haven't ran a split backfield some with Shannon and Carrier both on the field at the same time or a 3 back set with some misdirection. Some play action out of it would have been nice too. That along with the option, I think that would have really help them out over the season not being able to just key in on the single tailback and with a little play action would have opened up the pass more for them also.

Actually I think Bourbon was the 4 seed and went on to win the call 2A Championship. Anyone care to help me out here. If i am right they beat Boyle Co in the playoffs that year Boyle was 11-1

How does that help ? I have already said South Laurel has one more win and Lincoln. If you look at the 5A Win-Loss Records, Mercer is still below South Laurel and Lincoln! I think its gonna be a barn burner on Friday!
