I agree. John needs to schedule a couple of tougher opponents to get ready for the playoffs. I would love to see John schedule Trinity, St. X, or Highlands. Win or lose it would just make us better in the long run.

Our defense is playing well. I predict we stay below our current points allowed average of 8.8. I say John 42 PD 7.

I was impressed with Highlands O-line play. I think a one legged man could rush for a 100 yards behind them boys. They stayed with their blocks and kept our D-line from making many tackles.

Congrats Highlands on your 19th state championship. You guys are a real class act! Mr. Collinsworth is the real deal, I was really impressed. Go Dawgs!

Let it begin. I'm pretty sure the Dawgs defense will hold BG to a low scoring game. I think John has too balanced of a team to lose this one. They are playing well on both sides of the ball. I say 28-14 John. :banana:

Oldham came ready to play, but couldn't hold off the fire power of John's offense. Dingle hooked up with our TE Simmons on two long bombs and threw one more to receiver Jeremy Harness. Dingle also ran in two TD's. Defense held their own in this contest. I'm very proud of the Dawgs it was a nice victory. Congrats to Oldham County on a successful season. :dancingpa

This thread is about John and Oldham County. Highlands is a great team, but we can't get distracted with the notion of playing you guys just yet. We have two more games to get through and believe me there is not one coach at John who is overlooking Oldham County. They are the only game that matters at this point. Go Dawgs!

John looked really good tonight. The defense was stingy as usual and QB Dingle was on fire throwing for a bunch of TD's. South Oldham didn't score until the 2nd and 3rd string players were put in at the end of the game. One game down and four more to go.
