  1. Alright so it's just like it sounds, going to vote on your favorite tv show growing up in or just during the 90's. The tv show didn't have to start in the 90's but somewhere right around there. Some examples include: Boy Meets World The Wonder Years Saved By the Bell Step By Step Growing Pains Family Matters Fresh Prince of Bel Air Are you Afraid of the Dark Kenan and Kel All That etc.
  2. Now I doubt he refused the ball but if he wanted to start I'm sure he could have. I believe it was more of a front office move than a player move. They protect their investment by pulling him over the tiniest thing.
  3. Sounds iffy to me as well. The Nationals placed him on the DL today, but removed from from the start because he couldn't get loose and they didn't want to chance anything. I honestly doubt they do this for any pitcher other than Strasburg and I also believe that many pitchers pitch without being fully loosened up to start so yeah I believe Strasburg needs to man up!
  4. I'll say Player B is Brett Favre. I'm guessing the "two-year period" isn't from the last two years anyway. Favre threw a ton of INT's in a two year span and I'm guessing you're using good QB's to compare so that's my guess.
  5. I think he'll be better this season. I'm not a Bengals fan by any means (Browns fan actually) but I think he'll have a solid season and come close to matching his 2006 season. He has a good offensive core, if he can stay healthy then he should fare pretty well.
  6. Terrell Owens will be late for practice due to missing his flight.
  7. Well the other day he said he didn't want to play for the Phillies BUT Jason Bay also said he didn't want to play for the Mets and we see how that turned out.
  8. Hopefully Oswalt nixes this trade to the Phillies, but in baseball you hear one thing and something different happens. If this trade goes through then the Braves have to get some kind of offensive help and maybe a cheap reliever or starter. I would like to see them make a blockbuster for Bautista and Downs but I doubt it happens. Willingham is another good player who could help down the stretch. Hopefully something works out.
  9. They call me Slim Roethlisberger!
  10. 1. Peyton Manning 2. Drew Brees 3. Aaron Rodgers 4. Tom Brady 5. Brett Favre 6. Ben Rothelisberger (sp?) 7. Phillip Rivers 8. Tony Romo 9. Eli Manning 10. Matt Schaub 11. Carson Palmer 12. Matt Ryan
  11. "Space Bound" is an amazing song. Shoot the whole CD is amazing!
  12. The OF situation is this. Nate McLouth Jason Heyward Melky Cabrera Matt Diaz Eric Hinske Jordan Schafer In the minors you have: Gregor Blanco Willy Tavares Josh Anderson Unless I'm forgetting someone that's basically it. There isn't really anyone "internally" that is going to strengthen that group enough to make a difference late in the season. Phillies are making a run and the Braves need a more potent bat in the lineup to help because of the recent struggles from Troy Glaus. They need to go all out and try to win this year, go after Bautista, Hart, Ross, Young, Upton, Crawford, etc. I still think they'll make a move but I'm not sure as to how big of one yet.
  13. * Braves GM, Frank Wren, said that he believes he can strengthen the Braves OF internally instead of trading for help. He is crazy if he thinks that!
  14. You have to be joking? Miller is really good but the price goes up even more when you trade within the division. No way Miller and a few B prospects get a deal done. NO CHANCE!
  15. Oswalt also said he doesn't want to play for the Phillies.
  16. I understand what you're saying and I do remember the stories from the dangerous hazing in high school, but until something like that happens on the professional level I don't see any reason to do anything about it. We see, especially in the NFL, a lot of bad character from these players especially off the field, but on the field these guys are a family and this is a part of what they do. It hasn't gotten out of hand because they know where to draw the line, and instead of telling them to stop it altogether then just have them talk about how it can be used as a bonding activity for teammates as long as it doesn't get out of hand or control.
