It's a good thing you are a part of the union then because they would love to have a minimum salary. It works for everyone, don't get where you see a downside to it, and if you do disagree with something or say it won't happen it's usually a good idea to provide some aspect or reasoning as to why. :thumb:

Bingo. It would also give teams more money to spend and they wouldn't be so tight with it. You have veteran players like Jermain Dye, John Smoltz, Pedro Martinez, etc who can still play but teams won't pay what they want. With a minimum salary teams would have more flexibility with salaries.

Paul going to the Mavs would basically mean the end of Jason Kidd wouldn't it? I could see Paul going to Portland, they have a lot of young players they could give up and they could just get rid of Oden if they wanted. I agree that they'd have to trade Fernandez.
