I didn't watch this game but Freeman is usually the 2nd or 3rd person off the bench....and it's good to see Smith play well, he needs to play like that night in and night out for the hounds to stay on top of the region.

After watching Knox and Clay both, I don't think either team has enough talent to beat Corbin or South...but March is a long way off and crazy things can happen.

I didn't say that one team would blowout the other team, I said the next two games are at CORBIN.:idunno:

I wish it was like last year and all the local teams were in it...I can bet that they made alot of money from it.

They play them one more time in the regular season at Corbin, then probably again in the district finals..."at CORBIN".

If I'm blind then I must not have seen the 18 point lead Corbin jumped out to...If Corbin would have closed the door in the 3rd quarter this game would have been ugly....and the only game I see being close is the region championship if both teams make it.

True! I do see the point with the no paint but you know it makes it fun when students paint up.

I disagree with the no paint rule...I say if you come in already painted then let it go its not like their going to wash themselves off in the bathroom.:laugh:

Remember Corbin was playing at South...and I do agree other than St.John Corbin has an advantage with the top 6 or 7 players.

IMO, Corbin is 15 points better than South at this point...but I don't see them beating Corbin at any point this year now since the next 2 games are at Corbin (if both teams reach the district finals)...Then the 3rd one would be at the Arena.

That's rediculous...I know it's not about the students, but the Arena should have told the 13th region coaches that there wouldn't be any of the following allowed because I can almost guarantee they wouldn't have voted for it.

Just drop it already...The regions going to the Arena and there's nothing that nobody can say or do to change it!!!:irked:

First meeting since last year's regional championship game! Although the game is at South, I will have to give Corbin the edge...They have had South's number the last 2 or 3 times they played each other. Corbin by 12.

Too bad in today's paper there was nothing in it about the South/Corbin game!!! Maybe tomorrow....:thumb:

No, I personally have not seen it myself, I have seen pictures and it's the nicest gym by far in the region. However just because it's nice doesn't give Harlan County an advantage to hold the region over anybody else.

I thought he coached at Corbin before going to Scott County??

So do you think if 3 or 4 other schools in the region got a new school they should get a chance to host it to?
