Napier quit the team....Davis was involved in the fight on the floor with a teammate last night.....probably won't matter with him, he'll be starting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Coldiron treats players differently....just ask Yarbrough and Napier....senseless act and everyone involved in the program knows that is a fact!

Has lost ALL control of the situation, plain and simple!

Team in need of leadership....things will only get worse....all started when Coldiron benched Napier and Yarbrough (two seniors) and started Freshman in their spots.....the two Seniors had started three years and Coldiron tried to put the blame on them instead of himself and his staff.....Davis has been a constant problem with his Dad on the staff....he picked up a technical foul vs. Lex Cath and the only thing that happened was Coldiron patted him on the back....something must give here, bad situation!

I don't know anything about the incident but I do know for sure that Tanner Napier has left the team and cited being benched, playing time cut down, and lack of leadership from the coaching staff as reasons for leaving....seems funny for a team that is 5-11 and worst record in the 11th region to be benching Seniors and starting Freshman doesn't it???

Just going over the different regions throughout the state and pretty much estimating the number I know that played that are officiating now......

If you have to do this...better be a two sport player if you plan on playing at the next level.....completely disagree with your analogy Ram..

Just about 90% are not.....hurts the game tremendously too...former players aren't interested usually so have to take anyone and anybody that has interest!!

Great point.....the players from the Metro will find places to play.....will make the voters think a little bit....guarantee you there will be several that make the pollsters look weak!!

Congrats to Matt....saw him play several times this year....more focus and better work ethic will make him a nice kicker for the Cowboys.....CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Bottom line is making the team or not doesn't mean anything........if you can play the college coaches will find you, that's been proven many times and will remain that way....Congrats to those who made the team and if you didn't, well the college coaches will still be ringing your phone and setting up on-campus visits.......

Not a comment that I understand.....have no kid on Lafayette's team....just a longtime fan and understand right from wrong.....

Need format tweeking badly.....lots of kids got left out and that leaves a bad taste for some...

Would like to second that idea Panda and 4 players from NCC was at least one too many.....

They went 3-1 only losing to the tourney champion!! Should have had one for sure if not two on the all tourney team.....that is nothing but wrong!!

Nobody from Lafayette??? Did anyone see Napier hit for 28 points vs. Campbell Co.??? Looks like Lafayette should have just stayed in Lexington and played in the Republic Bank Tourney!!

Was sitting in a good enough position to tell the official made a very bad call!!

Two seniors need to start and play entire game.....Coldiron is punishing two senior kids that have started since they were sophomores....lesson needs to be directed at the head coach...play your seniors as you should and stop playing 10 or 12 players, the seniors deserve that opportunity!! Davis will get his due later, he hasn't proven anything yet this year but turnovers and obvious youth!!

Two starters have for some unknown reason been coming off the bench.....can't win with those guys not playing full time......they didn't start the beginning of the second half and Newport Central Catholic went on a 10-0 run...Lafayette was never in the game after that...

Foul ratio was 2-1 in Cooper's favor...plus phantom walk call late in the game!!

Had two players last year that covered up for him....Walker and Hagans played on athletic ability and had 35 points between them each game....they have departed and things must change...Lafayette must run set plays and screen for each other to get shots, they aren't doing that and their record proves the point....put your players in a spot where they can win, not just run up and down the floor and play.....encourage you to go watch a game...I'm not bashing coaching, just a true Lafayette fan that has seen lots of games and thinks moves need to be made here in this situation..

Just go to a game, then reply back......nothing but the absolute truth.......
