Where was Phillips positioned on this play? Was he moving over to try and back up the throw to first? Obviously with a runner on third the catcher had to stay at home.

I agree. Rowan County should be the runaway favorite. If Rowan County doesn't win it next year then their coach needs to hang it up. It would be one of the worst coaching jobs in 16th region history if the Lady Vikings don't win.

Hand over the reins to Dale White. The man is a coaching genius. Nothing against Bill Bradley, he has done a great job, but Dale White was born to coach.

Why must you sterotype Ashland by the comments of a few fans, and not take into the consideration the view point of the majority of Ashland fans. What you are doing is no better than complaining about the officiating.

I don't know how much longer Bill Bradley plans on coaching, but whenever he's ready to step down I think Ashland should consider making Dale White the head man. He has a brilliant basketball mind inside of that ball head of his. I remember watching him take charge of his teams when he dominated the courts at Southside. Ashland is sitting on a gold mine there.

I believe the little guy on top of all those trophies is modeled after Kouns. You can tell if you look at how neat the hair is on all those trophies.

Seems like you were the only one to see it. I've talked to several Ashland fans who didn't see anything of the kind, and neither did I.

I'm sorry. I just don't see it. They lost to an unrated Boone County team. Holmes may not even make it out of the 9th Region. I think Holmes was exposed tonight. I think Elliott would beat them by 8-13.

I agree. So quitting is the better option rather than busting his butt and working harder to get back out on the court? That's a great attitude for kids to adapt. I feel sorry for kids who decide to quit. They'll go thru life never holding down a job for very long because they'll quit whenever somebody they don't feel deserves it get's the promotion over them.

Ashland rallies from 8 points down with under 2 minutes to go to win this one.

While Ashland isn't as dominant as they once were, I feel they are still seen as one of the top schools in the state.

It's been a tough season for Coach Kidwell, but I'm confident he will get the Russell program back where it belongs. Any chance he starts playing the young guys more? I know that Skaggs starts, but I've seen their JV team, and they have some other good young ball players. If I were him I would start playing them more and more and start building for the future.
