  1. Hunter Porter, Patrick Keller, Craig Floyd, Brian Woomer, Jack Whittman and Seth. Along with Schuette and Martin that makes at least 8 other players competing. The point is he would not be handed a starting position because of his "reputation". He may end up "all-world" at Bryan Station, but so far he had not looked any better than several of the other players(one game doesn't always tell the whole story). Apparently his father has had a lot to do with "shopping him around" which is too bad, because he is a nice kid and a good player. Also, Schuette and Martin are much more efficient offensively than Seth. If Seth learned to distribute the ball better, he would be a much better player.
  2. He stopped playing with them after last week-end. He must have realized he likely wouldn't start and there would be competition for playing time. No way would he be the "go-to stud" on Lex Cath with Scott Schuette, Taylor Martin, and others.
  3. Maybe it's because he was 15 in 8th grade?
  4. You should be proud of him. Although his basketball career at UK may not have been as successful as he would have liked, he represented Bowling Green and western KY with tremendous class.
  5. I think there are several freshmen around the state that will become more noticed as they become sophs and juniors. Right now they are not used as much at the varsity level because their teams have excellent upper classmen. It will be interesting to see how things develop as some of these players get more playing time. I think Elijah Pittman wasn't really noticed until the state tournament last year when he was a sophomore.
  6. Ivey does play on the freshman team--at least he did when they lost to Lexington Catholic's freshman team a few weeks ago.
  7. Corbin was a very good and experienced team playing on their home court. Lex Cath battled very well with 3 starters having 1 month of significant varsity experience and a sophomore and 2 freshmen coming off the bench. They will continue to get better with experience.
