  1. Bellevue 24 Lloyd 21 Lloyd has played a much harder schedule but last week Roenker had 215 yards on this Lloyd defense. If they play like that against Bellevue, they are going to have a dissappointing homecoming
  2. HC was more beat up than Lloyd. Yes the starting QB was not hurt but the starting center, reciever/DB, linebacker/fullback, and MLB were all injured in this game. All that matters is that HC won the game, and Lloyd lost. In the end no one cares who was out it is the winner who will be remembered and the loser who will be forgotten. So no excuses. HC played there tails off last night
  3. I agree HC is going to have an intersting season this year, I am looking forward to attending the games and watching some good old basketball:dancingpa
  4. It's on like Donkey Kong between these two teams. :ylsuper:
  5. One word for you. DAYTON! Lloyd should be able to defeat Dayton EASILY with their third string quarterback, they are a subpar 1A school.
  6. HC is beating down with injuries, but I can not see HC losing this one, especially with the juggs starting QB injured. I say... HC-21 Lloyd-7
  7. #3 is doing alright, he was taken away on life squad and last I have heard is that he is conciousness, is talking, and is moving all extremities... best of luck to him and his family
  8. 7 Lloyd 5 Scott 3 Conner 2 Ludlow 1 Campbell County Lloyd
  9. Yes that is what I meant. HC had everything going for them, they were moving the ball, they were playing great defense, but all they needed to do was execute in the Red Zone and stop making dumb mistakes (penalties) in the Red zone. If HC does what they did against NCC, and executes in the Red Zone, then I give them the win.
  10. HC is in for a tough game... If they play the way they did vs. NCC then HC will have this one in the bag, they showed a lot of heart on the field on saturday, and never gave up. HC-28 Ryle-14
  11. Good game by HC today, showed a lot of heart and played well... Referees were an issue though with numerous bad calls that would have maybe changed the outcome, but I am not one to blame refs for wins or losses, you need to play through the bad calls, it is just a burden that you have to overcome. But the refs were awful in this game. Also HC kept making mental mistakes like false starts in the end zone, you cant have that, especially in crucial situations. With that being said, I think HC played with a ton of heart and if they continue to play like this they will have success in the future
  12. You may be right I might not be giving Scott enough credit. They have improved much since last year with Campbell as coach... Holmes by 10
  13. Hopefully he will be back for Ryle but it is doubtful this week And I agree he has a lot of heart and is the leader of this defense
  14. Agree strongly, Robert Walker and Eric Oldiges had the most intensity and passion for the game than any Indian on that team last year and that is what made them so good.
  15. Holmes will STOMP the eagles... Holmes is a better team than many people say Not a great offense but an exceptional defensive line.. Holmes by three TD's
  16. Haha very funny. But Carr really has brought a new respect to their program and is the reason there team succeeds. He may not get the BEST talent but he makes up for that in hustle and great coaching
  17. YES!! VERY this definatley affects the atmosphere and a game of this caliber should be a friday night game.
  18. Yes I am a fan, but I truly believe this. It is not as if have not seen Simpson play. I see how you think I am being a bit biased BUT after this game against New Cath, we will really see how Roenker is. I expect something special, and I know he will not prove me wrong, the kids got heart.
  19. I will give Simpson some credit because you are right, the kid can truck people. On the other hand, Roenker is something special, and I would definatley rank him with Simpson... probably higher... You just have not seen Roenker yet because of his injury but this week you will see the Roenker that just flat out runs like a mad man. I am giving Roenker a HUGE week against NCC if his line provides him the proper holes, which will be tough with NewCath's huge defensive linemen, but it will happen.
  20. Very true Carr is a great coach and teaches the right things... He is making this program great and i have a ton of respect for him... Hiller may be injured for his senior season, so expect junior Jake Niederegger to be making contributions to this team also
  21. I agree that Giwa is not the shooter that Sorrell was, but it will not be a one man show anymore at HC, with Sorrell gone they do not have to focus their whole offense around one man, it will be more team oriented. Juniors like Keith Egan and Marcus Lea will have to show leadership and step up.
