  1. I think it will be a season to be patient.
  2. Boyle County Lamar Dawson--6'2" 230 will turn 15 next month. Manchild !!!
  3. It is a practice with other teams. Many, many teams do this year in and year out. They don't keep score, they are not clock managed, it is well within the rules. Many teams attend this camp. "Controlled scrimmage" are the words I used to describe it but it is practice.
  4. Just a quick note to say that I was told by 2 or 3 different people that the Boyle vs. Rockcastle controlled scrimmage went very much in favor of Boyle. FYI, one of the people who told me was a Rockcastle fan. b & g
  5. As said by another poster, Mason has looked very good and I would be suprised if Boone's the starter against Warren. He is very talented but will need some time to learn the offense.
  6. Actually I wouldn't say that I'm against it. I was just wondering if people do this anywhere else. If anyone out there has seen this at their high school.
  7. Needs some young lineman to step up and grow up early. They could have a very good year but as stated above there schedule is ridiculous. Lots of very good soph's who will be called upon. Just my thoughts.
  8. I actually saw some parents tailgating at one of Boyle Co.'s practices earlier in the week. Should practices be closed? How is it handled at different schools around the state?
  9. I think everyone has figured it out already but let me add that he is not going to Boyle Co. There was only 1 or 2 five minute conversations regarding the possibility. I wish him luck where he is.
  10. A young man named Lamar Dawson played against some VERY good comp. last year as a freshman. He's got a D1 body and is a great kid. He is now 6'2" and a very solid 230. Should draw lots of attention over the next three seasons and actually already has.
