I think Lawrence County has a tough schedule with PRP, Lexington Catholic, they play a tournament in Florida, and they also play the teams in their district which is tough.

I was listening to the game on the radio, seemed like a really hard fought game between two really good teams. Go dawgs!!

I played for Lc from 98 to 2002, Chuke has cancer, not sure what type of cancer but that is confirmed he does. My prayers are with him and his family, he was a great guy and a great coach. That hook and ladder play to win the game was agains Newports when Gerad caught the ball and pitched it to Meadows for the Td, and we won 34-32. That Breathitt County game was awesome though, tearing down the goal posts was cool also. I think for me it was that they were so good, and had a 38 game I think winning streak coming in and we gave it our best, and was able to beat them, that was the best day ever in Louisa. Anyone who was there would agree with me, thats what LC needs to get back to. Go dawgs!!!

I think the top team in the 15th has to be either Lawrence County, or Johnson Central. I'm not sure of the rankings state wide but Lawrence County is legitimate, they are loaded once again.

Chandler is I think 6'2 185 lbs or something close to that. They have solid players returning. Justin Miller is a solid hitter that plays 1st base. Ramsey Compton, Josh Mills, Dustin Kigsmore and alot of good freshmen.They play in the 15th region which is always tough.

How does everyone think they will do this year? Does anyone have their schedule for this year? What do u predict theie record to be?

I watched this team alot last year and there was just something special about them. They had great chemistry, and alot of talent. I think by far he was one of the best at the state tournament last year, and did I mention he was only a freshman? I think he should be preseason top 10 in ky.

How does everyone think this team will do after making it to the state championship last year? They look to have solid players returning, and one of the best young pitchers in the state in Chandler Shepherd. I would love to hear alot of feedback on this team.

I think by far Chandler Shepherd is the best pitcher in the area, if not the entire state. Anyone who watched this team last year knows how good he is. His freshman year they make it to the state championship and he still doesn't get any recognition come on. If I'm not mistaken the first game in the state tournament which is a do or die game, who did they pitch it was him that says alot about this kid. Watch out for him this year, he's a solid player.

Yeah they didn't have good reception due to the telephone lines down in Pineville, they had to broadcast from cell phones, and they went dead. Hate to see this happen to my dawgs, there has to be some changes in Louisa. This town cares too much about this team, and these kids for this to happen.

Good point dawgtradition79 I totally agree with you on this one, I do however think they will win atleast 5 games this year.

I am picking Lawrence also because they are more physical and what I know of Nort Laurel they are better at the skill positions than North Laurel. Lawrence 28 North Laurel 7

Yeah all of the teams in this district are looking alot better, should be some good ball games between them.

I believe this will be a close game, depending on which team comes out flat. My prediction is Ashland 28 Raceland 24

Lawrence Countie's schedule is tough They play Sheldon Clark, Belfry, Prestonsburg,Letcher Central, Breathitt, Body County, and Greenup County.

Yes Pikeville has always been strong, looks like LC is headed in the right direction, this new coach has this team prepared for every game and they are all excited for this season. Can't wait to watch the first game against North Laurel
