Souths defense, and special teams looked alot better friday night, but their offense didn't look sharp. If they can get on the same page Friday night it could be a good game. South35 , Mercer 21.

I agree I saw alot of missed tackles. The defense looked bad because of this, so I think that Coach Welch will get them lined out this week.

I think that he will break the record this year. They do have a tough schedule and he will have to have a good game every game. He looked good last night at the scrimmage. He has a lot of players that he can throw to. As much as they pass I think that he will break the record.

I agree Chad is a good defense player. But south has alot of good players on D this year, Fields, Suttherland, Cobb, Shepherd, Quillen, Bowling, just to name a few.

I think that the Miller kid that S.L. got this year will have S.L. fans saying chad who.

I think losing chad will not hurt South as much as everying thinks. Steven Q is as fast as Chad, I think S.Q hits the hole better, he also has better take off speed. S.L. has a very good o-line if they give Ricky time then good things will happen. If S.L. can get their defense working together then they should do good this year.

South should be a very good team this year Steven Q is very fast and should have a very good year. South also has a freshman that will be better than the (back) that they lost.

I agree ROME, I think that South has been working long and hard. I would like to see them have a good season.

Ricky looked great at 7on7 last week. He will put up good numbers this year. Jake cobb, Chris Mitchell, and Blake Fields are also looking good. I think Ricky will have time to throw the ball this year with the o-line protecting him this year. If Jeremy Armfield, Mark Clontz, Cornbread, and Chaz Proffit stay healthy this year then South will win some games.

Not true, he started in the 6th grade. I have known this kid since he was 10. He is a work horse and no one has to tell him to workout or run he does this on his own.
