  1. And Fort Campbell is the 4th school in that county. That district does not need to change. Of course they(8th district) have won the region for the last several years.
  2. The ejections occured during a punt return. LO was returning a punt when the return man was ran out of bounds on the HC sideline. As that happened there was a contact made on the sideline. A HC player was hit. Not for sure if he was blocked or just got ran over. I think it was ruled unsportsmanlike contact. Flag was throw instantly. Before the LO player could get back on the field there was some pushing and shoving right after that. Another flag was throw. Unsportsmanlike again. Before order was restored, there were 5 unsportsmanlike penalties called on the play. 2 ejections, I think the LO player who made the late hit on the sideline and the HC who got up and retaliated. This happened in the first half. So to start the second half, the adults(coaches/officials) agree to 8 minute quarters I guess for the second half. Its already a running clock. HC kicks off and LO has all their players meet in a huddle like formation and one player comes out with the football. They all head in different directions. Up 50 with a running clock and quarters have been shortened and this is how they start the second half? I guess they felt like they should practice it?
  3. Hopkins Central has hit bottom and will have to make some changes. Should be an interesting match up next week as Lone Oak travels to Madisonville. Ousley will have to be on for that game. There were a couple of events that occured that I did think were out of character friday night. In a blowout game, that you have well in hand, I dont think the kickoff return trickery to start the second half was uncalled for. Your thoughts? And then the second one was the situation that occured after the two players were ejected.
  4. Another tough game for the Trojans. Trigg coming in off a loss but scored a lot of points.
  5. The Storm got close last week, this one is at Storm Stadium also, can they pull one off?
  6. Can the Tigers get one on the road?
  7. In a wild one at Storm Stadium, Muhlenberg gets their first victory of the season. With just over 3 minutes to go; the Mustangs lead 21 to 12. Then a flurry of touchdowns with Central scoring with a over a minute to go to make it 28 to 26. The onside kick failed and Muhlenberg had the victory.
  8. Union County has the skills but they cant seem to put a whole game together.
  9. Can the Rockets go to Paducah and get one from the Hounds?
  10. This game might decide who gets a home game in the playoffs.
  11. The Colonels will roll, but Hopkinsville is getting better.
  12. The Trojans go on the road and face another "big" school. Daviess County will take this one.
  13. Tigers should go on the road and get the victory.
  14. This game was close 14-7 at halftime. Ohio County went off in the second half. Final score was 41 to 7.
  15. Madisonville explodes for 21 points in the fourth quarter. This game was closer than the score.
  16. There is a lot of grumbling in Caldwell County after Trigg County came into Princeton and stole one away from the Tigers. Things do not go any easier as another Wildcat comes to town this Friday night. There are some very high expectations this year in Caldwell County and another loss is going to make the home crowd a little more vocal.
  17. After 2 loses on the road, Webster returns home and hopes to pull off a slight upset over Ohio County.
  18. Both teams are looking for their second victory.
  19. No, they are not in the same class.
  20. According to my sources, which stayed up much later than I, this one is now a final. Several are playing or should I say going to finish their game today. But this one is over. Trigg wins.
  21. This is a 4th quarter score with about 5 minutes left. Still under a delay.
  22. This game will be finished on Saturday. This is a third quarter score.
  23. Its at Ohio County and they should believe they can win. The Storm just need more experience, but I hope they give them a good game.
