Speed and size is the difference. Did you see the size of the O line of Cincy X when they played Highlands. I'll give you an example , HHS Cam Dierig 5'9" 180LBS up against X's D1 prospect Matt James 6'8 305 LBS. The weight difference on the line was about 50 LBS between these teams. By the way , Dierig had at least 3 tackles for loss in that game. Dierig is a perfect example of talent and heart .

I'm not laughing at anybody. Ryles program has been improving every year ,and it's great playing better than average teams to improve your own team. I wish Ryle the best against Colerain .

I'm not trying to discourage anyone , I'm being realistic .

Thats great , now all you have to worry about is the question of talent.

Keeping it close is not winning! As far as an upset , when you start winning games against Highlands , thats when you know your ready to take on the big boys from Ohio. Look at all the talent that the birds had to field this year to beat Cincy X. Do you think Ryle will have the talent that this years HHS team had ? If you have to play your stars both ways , that doesn't work either , Colerain will wear you down in the second half. Good luck!!!! :lol:

If you think Ryle can beat Colerain with just a running game your going to be very disappointed. When you play Colerain you better have all your weapons ready and be firing on all cylinders. Both passing and running will be needed if Ryle is to pull off the upset. (JMO )

What is the ticket situation ? Can tickets be purchased on line , or is the game sold out already ? I wouldn't want to take a chance of buying tickets at the gate after driving that far. Good luck to the Ky young men , play hard and we pray there are no injuries to either team. Have a safe trip to and from the game!

I'm surprized that he hasn't had more offers . He also plays tight end .

It's a shame , every Sunday we get to watch Chad Ochostinko (spelling?) and the Bengals lay an egg or the Browns , but we can't get coverage for a good high school game.

Nobody in Northern Ky going to carry the game live or tape delay ? How about local radio? I love football in NKY , but the local TV stations nearby don't , thats for sure!!! :madman:
