Now that you mention it , I guess I am . :notworthy:

Looks like Austin Collinsworth will have plenty of company from the tri-state area at ND. Just saw James and Massa from Cincy X commit to ND also. Looks like Brian K. is taking a lot of the local talent with him. Congrats to all!!!

My favorite player still isn't signed. Still hoping and praying that something good is going to happen.

Congrats Brandon , things are looking up . Hopefully there will more D1 offers coming soon. :dancingpa -
I believe that this is the best thread ever started on BGP. These are great stories and memories , not only for the players , but for the program and the fans as well. This coach is a legend , and will always be remembered in the hearts of everyone , not only Highlands people , but everyone whos ever heard of him or had the distinct honor of knowing him. He is sorely missed!!

If Miles decides to go to IU ,that team and program just got a lot better!!

National signing day is Wed. Feb 3rd . Is your favorite D1 player ready to sign on the dotted line ? Who is he and from what school ? What college will he be attending ? Over the last couple of months there have been a lot of verbal commitments , are those players locked in or secretly looking for better offers ? Your thoughts ?

Highlands has 19 state titles right now. If they win state it will be 20. So, it will be there 20th title in the year 2010. (20 n 10) -

Are you really thinking that your going to gain Harbin points by playing Highlands ? Does Mason , Lakota , or Laslle type teams beat the Cincy X type teams or even stay close to them on a regular basis? If I'm the Ohio coach trying to get Harbin points , I don't think I want any part of Highlands. You might be better off playing other NKY teams that are very good , but Hghlands no way. If they do schedule Highlands , they better bring some great athletes with tons of speed and talent. -

I mentioned East Central playing Highlands a long time ago in a different thread . You are correct , they have great fans and a very good football team and program. It hasn't been too long ago , that they brought home a state championship trophy. (Indiana) -

Is it me or does it seem odd for a head coach to visit players that are already commited to his program one week before national signing day ? I would think the head coach would be more interested in getting the best recruits that are not commited yet , to join the ND program. I'm not a coach , and coach BK absolutely is one of the best coaches in college football today , so I'll just say in closing that the visits from coach BK made the day special for the two deserving recruits of Collinsworth and Nichols . Congrats again , you represent KY well !!!! -

Was he there just to see Austin , or was he there to talk to other players as well ? -

I would like to say congrats to cam , well deserved honor for a great person and player!!!! I happened across a quote in a prediction thread before the nati X game referring to Cam Dierig , I hope you like it. "Dale better have some tricks up his sleeve , because if they really think a 5'9" kid is going to give Matt James fits , it will be over by the time the rest of the tristate games kick off ":laugh:
