As per the bolded , what exactly does that mean ? I heard that term used last year and it seems like only the mountain teams use that term. Please explain.

I wouldn't be surprised if there were more people at the T vs HHS scrimmage than at most regular season games for the birds.

I was hoping that you would see the humor in my post , as I recall , there was lots of crow being served last year. I got to taste crow too , and it didn't go down very easy , washed it down with blue cool-aid and still tasted terrible. Go Birds 20n10 !

If I remember correctly , that was the second biggest plate of crow I have ever seen. The biggest plate of crow was Cardinals Fan and his prediction of last years HHS- Cin. St. X game. (It might be quite a while before anyone tops that huge plate of crow.) lol

The SK players will really be mad if Ryle would happen to knock off Highlands in one of their two scheduled games. Can you imagine the hype if that were to happen ? ( Just something to think about ) lol

Thanks , but I have no control over who hates who . I'm sure someone hates T , just because of their winning program , if that makes you feel any better. Most of the T haters are from the Lou. area,I'm sure.

As most people in NKY know , Highlands is called "Cake-eaters" by a lot of fans all over the state and also in Southern Ohio. I'm positive by the nickname it is not meant as a compliment ! I don't know if Ryle , T or X has any nicknames but if they do , I would like to hear about them. Until then, I would think HHS takes the cake on HATE. I would like to apologize to the Ryle faithful on this thread. I didn't mean to hi-jack your thread , but when you talk about Hate , Highlands is the first school that comes to most peoples mindS.

If, is a mighty big word , especially when used in your phrase "if Ryle beats Highlands". Ryle may beat Highlands , heck, I can't tell the future. It also reminds me of another phrase "if a frog had wings , he wouldn't bump his.................................. (Have a nice day!)

I didn't realize that Ryle was hated so much ,my question is ,are the Raiders hated more than the Bluebirds ? Should someone start a poll to see who is hated the most ?

You can bet the farm that coach Turner has a few "extra " O lineman , just waiting to take over in case of injuries. I also wouldn't be surprised if the replacement is just as talented and not one of the biggest kids on the team. Remember , the players from the fort all come from the same mold.( FTJFL)

It seems like every year on this thread ,Highlands O line is the big question mark. Then every year , the O line is outstanding, especially last year. You would think by now that people should not be concerned about the O line , as history has proved , they will be ready when needed. On the other hand , if the O line is the only question , then the rest of the team must be pretty solid . Go Birds 20n10 !

Last year I didn't hear Lou. X or T complaining that they didn't "get to play" Highlands. Why is that ? Remember the scenario that worked out between the top teams in Ky. and the GCL SOUTH ?

Do you really think the risks are the same ?(playing football and getting out of bed ) Now if your drunk out of your mind and sleeping on the top rack of a bunk bed , you might have a risk of getting hurt, but you wouldn't remember it anyway.

Watching the all star game will be great , after all , it's football. The stars that aren't playing in this game can be seen playing at a local college near you.( I hope that didn't sound like a commercial )

Why are these three players the exception ? If your an 18 year old high school senior and are mature enough to join the military , then I think you are not a kid. Joing the military is a major roll in society and shows great responsibility ,wouldn't you think . As far as your statement on injuries , it's called , calculated risk.

These are not kids. They are young men that have the opportunity to have their college paid for by playing the sport that they love. Considering the risk verses the rewards of this All Star game , I'm shocked to see the players with schollys playing in this game . Yea its their last highschool game , big deal , they are going to play in college so its not like their last game ever. I hope everyone that plays in this game comes out of it injury free.
