  1. 42-36 Villa with 5:50 left in 4th quarter. Could this be the first upset?
  2. The crusaders move on with the easy vicotry here. I just hope they stay sharp for the next game.
  3. Way to go Cru. Congrats to Coach Faust and his staff and of course the players. Way to end a great run of playing in the 33rd all these years with back to backs.
  4. Boone is a good young team. Lets hope they learned from this year and build off the positvies and correct the mistakes. Good teams are that good. Great teams control their own futures. Boone will be back and only time will tell if they are a good team or great team.
  5. I have to go with Cov. Cath not many people talking them up this year and they are my sleeper to take it.
  6. I saw a couple of the JV games is the center number 35? He tore Brossart up. He looked to be about 6'2 or 6'3 but he played more of wing in that game.
  7. Zumdick plays really well, but with Dedden leaving and I have seen the Crusaders play a couple of times this year will he be the 5 next year? I know they have Speed and Swikert coming back along with Bessler I believe he is a sophmore but do they have any true height coming up? They should be pretty good next year also with those 4, but Adams and Dedden will be gone. Just curious.
  8. Looks like a pretty good ranking to me. Top 6 teams are playing really well right now. I agree on St. Henry a very hot team right now. Top 3 are the teams to beat. But lets not forget Conner a big win tonight and they will have home court advantage. It will be a good tournament again.
  9. Looks like a banner day for the Crusaders first the 34th district announcement and now a nice win. NKYBOY you were right about Dedden having a big night.
  10. Congrats to Cov. Cath and good luck to Sorrell as he goes on to NKU, it was nice watching you play over the years.
  11. Wow big win for Conner. Congrats to them. The championship will be a good one. Two very good coaches and teams this should be a great championship game. And if it is true this will be the Crusaders last game in the 33rd district as they prepare to move on to the 34th next year. Good luck to each team.
  12. I was close Cru win big tonight. Great win for the Crusaders.
  13. I like it creates a state tournament atmosphere for the kids. And a great chance to play in front of large crowds. Tip of the hat to NKU and 9th region basketball.
  14. Just got a call St. Henry beat Ryle in the 33rd District I believe they said 77-60 tonight. Alot of noise but did confirm the Crusaders did win. Anyone got any stats or details? Great win for the Crusaders.
  15. I can see Boone letting this one slip away, but my gut feel is Boone will be moving on to the finals.
  16. McLeish is good but no way a top 5 sophmore. Top ten maybe or top 15 yes. Speed or baker both I believe are taller and Speed has great well speed, that really sounded stupid to say sorry. But either one of those two play tight D and he will have trouble shooting over them, at least I believe so. But if they let him roam free he could light it up.
  17. I agree with Dedden and I put Adams on Coleman. I think Adams will match up well against Coleman and maybe keep the 3 ball he shoots so well in control tonight. Anyway you look at a great matchup. The Cru by 12.
  18. Could should be a close game. Speed for SH is hot, also is Nichols still out for Ryle? Plus one advantage for SH is Coach Faust will have the ready.
  19. Boone has a lot of good young talent no one can deny that. But to blame coaches players etc. is not fair. Last time I checked there is no I in team. (I know bad cliche) but truthfully until some one on the floor steps up and becomes that leader that a team can rally around you will have your ups and downs. This is called growing pains of a young team. They have very talented players and someone will step up to assume the leader role and the games that they lost this year that many felt they should have won will be wins.
