I saw on a post here that Boone County will be there.

Did any of the JV teams do good from the NKY area? Any kids show they might help or get playing time at the varsity level this year?

Any news on Cameron Speed hopefully nothing serious?

Sounds like the local teams did very well. Jake Giesler has been mentioned any other young men have a good camp down at transy?

Was wondering did any of the 9th region schools play each other? I have seen Dayton, New Cath, and St.Henry mentioned here was there more from the 9th down there? Curious to hear if anyone heard anything especially New Cath if they played St.Henry.

Excellent hopefully you can update us if you can. I was talking to friends over the weekend who have sons at couple local high schools and a young mans name was brought up who goes there and I believe will be a junior. Don't want to mention his name but from what they were saying he is a very good player. But I did not see his name on your previous post. Maybe he does not go there anymore so curious to see what develops over the summer. Coach Faust always brings out the best in his players so maybe some other players will stand out too.

Are they as a team going to any camps this year?

Wow not alot of St. Henry Fans this year.

The Crusaders have a great coach, but once again they have no height. I have read they have 3 returning starters who will be seniors which is good. But where do they go from there? The bench will be the key to there season. They need to have at least IMO 4 sophmores or Juniors to be contribute serious time and points. The juniors from last year or the 3 are the core if there was other juniors on last years team it seems they did not get alot of playing time except maybe Beiting. I'd stick with the core three get your juniors to be plenty of time early let them develop and be ready by the Class A and go into the new District which I believe they will do very well in. The major advantage the team has is Coach Faust he always seems to develop what he has and makes it all come together.

I have to go with either St. Henry or New Cath but hey its only May and alot can happen between now and then.

Of the sophmores you mentioned that might contribute is there a true take it to the hole type player like Derek Adams was last year? With no height Iam sure Coach Faust will have them playing tough D, but any of them have that physical type body or style to spark them on offense? All said I believe like you said if the kids get with Coach Faust style they should have a very sucessful season in their new district.

That sounds like a solid 4 for Holy Corss and makes the 9th region A a very deep tournament, but do any of them have a chance down state?

St. Henry always has a deep bench will it be like that again this year? I have heard about the big 3 you mentioned, and the sophmores which I believe Bessler saw more varisty action than the other 2 I maybe wrong on that. But I also have heard they have another sophmore can't remember the name who is about 6'2 or so who could see some action this year and plays a very physical game but can shoot from the outside also. Also what about Holy Cross do they have anything coming back? The 9th region all A should be fun to watch this year.

I agree Andy is a gret kid. But have you seen him throw a baseball. He has great stuff. Basketball is his 3rd best sport right now.

Is this game still on for Monday night or has it been changed?

I think it will be close. St. Henry will be the Villa team in this one against the Colonels. Both sides have good coaching and players. St. Henry is the underdog in this one but remember the game is Monday and give Coach Faust 4 extra days to prepare his team and the Cru may surprise everyone.
