A very bad class A team which did not even qualify for the playoffs almost beat Bath Co. It does not matter how fired up Bath Co gets, because in 2 weeks Corbin will beat them as bad as they want.

Corbin is much better than Shelby Valley and Prestonburg. Bath may come out a different team in the playoffs but Corbin will still thump them as bad as they want if they play.

This is the pattern here. Bath Co. beats the teams that they are supposed to and lose big to the teams that they are supposed to. Bath has also played a very weak schedule this year. Bath should beat Nicholas and they should beat Leslie in the first round of the playoffs. But their season will come to an end if and when they meet Corbin in the second round of the playoffs. Corbin will put a huge thumping on Bath giving them their worst loss of the season.

Corbin wins this game 28-14. Their strong running game is too much for South.

Fairview is much better than people expected but I am taking Raceland 21-7.

Williamsburg's pass attack along with a much improved running game will be the reason the Jackets will prevail. Williamsburg's pass attempts will make this a long game. That will be another factor that will favor the Jackets.

Rowan's new coach has brought a lot of excitement to the program. If they can win this game then I think it will lead to them having a very good season.

The current seniors have been in this program since the 8th grade. And like I said in another post they have no big wins to show. And saying that this freshman class is the first group to go through the youth program is not saying much about your youth program when Lewis Co. beats your freshman 20-0.

With the talent that Bath has right now then they should have already been on the map. This coaching staff has been in place for 5 years. By saying that Bath has zero playoff wins, zero district championships, and zero wins in big games. How long does it take? Now you are talking about the current 8th grade class which will not even be a factor for at least two more seasons.

I have not seen Williamsburg play but I know that they are pass happy and Bath has trouble defending the pass. Williamsburg 35 Bath 12.

Prestonburg is a much better team and after watching the game a much better coaching staff.

The game was close for about 18 minutes. P'burg took control late in the second quarter and never looked back. They out scored Bath 28-0 during this stretch.

Elliott is not a lock to get out of the 16th region. East Carter, Bath County, and Ashland all very capable of beating them. And to say that their starting five is as good as any in the state is a foolish statement. Clark County, Scott County, Mason County, Hazard, J'town, Manual, Ballard all would thump Elliott if they played. If Elliott is one of the top teams in Ky then why are they not playing more top teams in Ky. I looked at their schedule and Mason Co. is the only top team in Ky that they are playing. ??????????????????????

You may keep up with high school football but if you believe this game will come down to the final play then it is obvious that you do not know anything about the game of football. Like I said earlier Prestonburg by 25. Prestonburg's program is on a different level than Bath Co.'s.

I am from Bath Co. and I am also realistic. Prestonburg is a much better team and they have a better coaching staff. By saying that then I will take prestonburg by 25.

No, I am not from Prestonburg. I did see Bath play Rowan in a scrim. I have never seen Prestonburg play, but based on the win over Bath last year and the 7 point win over Breathitt then I will take P'burg by at least 30.

Bath will be lucky if they can even score 7 points against P'burg. They are not playing Lewis Co. or West Carter. P'burg by at least 30.

It would not matter if they had a 5 hour bus ride. They are stil P'burg and they will beat Bath as bad as they want to. And yes they played Breathitt and they beat them. Playing teams like Breathitt only makes you better. Bath Co. will not improve playing cupcakes like Lewis co., West Carter, Powell Co., Clinton Co., Nicholas Co., ect.

I hate to burst your bubble dough boy but Bath will be lucky if they have 100 yards of total offense against P'burg next Friday. P'burg will beat Bath as bad as they want to.

A good middle school team could beat Lewis Co. Bath needs to beef up their schedule. They are 2-0 but Lewis & West are a combined 0-4. All of Bath's wins last season and the games that they will win this season will be against teams with losing records. The only good team that they play is P'burg. And that will be at least a 30 point loss for Bath next Friday.

I do not agree. Scrimmage games are for learning purposes and do not count. Bath was up 22-6 with seconds remaining in the half, but still had their first team offense in trying to score. And Bath was going to start the second half with the first possession. Just no class from their head coach.

Rowan co. is improved from last season. Bath will miss Clemmons and at best will finish 2nd in their district. I did loose a lot of respect for both head coaches. It was only a scrimmage game. They should have played some of their other players and used the game as a learning experience. They were to worried about their ego and winning a game that did not matter.
